We have two cats, Knuckles and Homer and our dog, a terrier/german shepard mix is Ginger.

I have a beagle named Bagel and a cat named Roo (her mom's name was Kanga).

HA! I have always thought it would be cool if I had a beagle named Bagel. Don't know why, just did. LOL.

Anyways, my golden retriever/lab is named Jake, even though she is a girl (don't ask) and my cat is named Sassy, after the cat in Homeward Bound. Her name fits her well, though. My grandma's dog was named Smokey and her cat is named Kitty (very original, I know, but we that was what we called her when we weren't planning on keeping her).

Here's my 3 year old Beagle Hank (and he is such a "Hank"). He's our Epileptic doggy.

And this is DSO's 2 1/2 year old Japanese Chin Sir LB Snuffles - aka Little Bit (though I just call him Little Dog, Abomination, Furball, etc)

We used to have a cat named Ditty, and a bird named....Birdbrain. In my past I have had Firemouth Cichlids (fish) named Meeki Mouth and Meanie Mouth (and dang, she was a meanie too).

I have a jack russell named Snicker, but we often call her Bug or Tug Boat, and ahound mix named Harley, and we call him Harley Pappa's. We also have a bearded dragon named Capone.

I used to have two long-haired grey cats that looked almost exactly alike. The male was named Otis, and the female was named Misty. Their both on the Other Side now. (In fact, I just realized that Misty died a year ago--4/18/06--and Otis a year or so before. I still miss them both.)

The kitty I have now is a short-haired, calico, female named Dixie. I named her that partly because of Dixie Landings and partly because I met someone once with a cat named Dixie and I thought it was cute.
