I don't see why. They are only trying to help you know. Maybe you can work on that and see that the person giving advice isn't doing it to be annoying. Don't let it get to you.



I have many pet peeves. One that drives me crazy is when someone uses a word wrong, and even after telling them, still does it. I have a friend who when she wants to say she has an "idea", she says she has an "ideal". She will say something like....."I have an ideal, lets go see a movie" Years and years of reminding her that its an idea, and she still says ideal. It just bugs me.

To name a few:
- Nails on a chalkboard.
- Gum on the sidewalk.
- Whining.
- Ignorant people.

I have a friend that does that. I have told her that the word that she is wanting to use is idea, but she jus won't listen!

I don't take it from my child --- I especially cannot handle it from an adult.

Left turns!! People make silly ones when they could go down to a safer place or use a red light -but no they block traffic making ridiculously hard ones.

This is funny because my biggest pet peeve is people correcting my speech in everyday situations.

Seriously,when I'm in a relaxed situation I tend to use words like
necked =naked
heal = hill actually this one carries over to any 'ill' word
thunk = thought
The list could go on forever!

Gum cracking and snapping. People who think their name is the same as mine and answer for me. The reason they give is because they knew the answer. I usually tell them that I honestly did not that their name was the same as mine.

BOSTON DRIVERS!!!!!!! User your damn blinkers!! No, you can't take up both lanes! Please don't block traffic in both directions just because you didn't want to sit through a red light! Stop signs are NOT optional! Driving in my trunk will not make me speed up no matter how bright your high beams are!

People who are on state medical aid and take their child to the ER for the stupidest reasons because it's free to them. For instance, a woman I know just ran her daughter to the ER because she slept on her neck the wrong way. Her neck was a little sore in the morning. Instead of giving her tylenol she ran her to the ER. And of course both are acting like the biggest drama queens I know over the whole incidence!
