What's your longest trip?

9 nights/10 days, and that was a little too long for us. We are kind of commando park people though, so we were just exhausted by the end. We go for 7 nights now and that seems perfect for us.

Our longest was 43 nights (off site) in 2009.....we're going 37 nights this Nov/Dec (11 onsite, the rest offsite). Our record year, 2013 was 88 nights over the course of 3 trips. This year loses by 4 days. (here now for 27 nights, back in Aug/Sept for 20 nights, Nov/Dec 37 nights). This year's Nov/Dec trip will be interrupted by 4 days over Thanksgiving being at Grandmas on the Gulf Coast, but we still are leasing the house here in Orlando, so I count it as a stay, just no park visiting.

Our stays all seem to be the same length. We have an arrival day, 5 days, and a departure day. So ours are just about always 6 nights. I really think I could stay for a month and never get tired of it but I don't think DW would buy in to that.

Oh wow, I wish we could afford that! That would have blown our entire year's room budget, lol.

We fly from NZ it costs us about $10,000 to fly to Orlando so we don't get to go as often so we stay for longer....so it was our entire years room budget :)

We have had a couple of 15 day trips and they spoiled us. After those we can't do a 7 day trip, so we try to do something in the 9-12 day range now.

our up coming trip in Nov will be our longest 10 day we usually stay about 5-7 days

That makes total sense...I used to say our reason for staying long was because we flew in from the West Coast, but now I admit the truth is we love it and can't wait until we can move to Florida and stop this long commute, lol.

We prefer offsite for the larger space (condo or house), the kitchen, the laundry, the less crowded (often empty) pool, sauna, etc. And the first time I proposed it to the kids it was that by staying offsite we could go for 3 weeks or onsite we could go for 8 days.....the longer stay won out every time, lol. I know many people don't like being away from the total immersion of Disney, or don't like to even think about cooking, but we actual find we are less stressed when we have a peaceful place to just relax and we love to cook (though most of our cooking is crockpot stuff on vacation). To each his own!

We usually go for about two weeks. This summer it will be 3 weeks (22 nights) for my wedding. 8 nights Boardwalk, 13 nights Coronado Springs and 1 night Poly. We bought into DVC this year but WE won't get to use those points (putting this in laws up for the wedding) for a couple of years. We'll probably keep going for at least a week each trip with the travel time from Calgary.

This year we will be onsite again but whenever the next trip is I wouldn't be surprised if we go off site, our family is now 5 and while the baby is in a portacot we can squeeze (literally) into a value room but as she needs a bed and the other girls don't want to sleep in a bed together then we will need more space and a brief look into this looks like off site will give us better value for money but who knows what changes will take plave in between.

We did 7 nights on our first trip and it was far too short! We're booked for 14 nights for the next trip! When the flight takes 8 hours and costs nearly $3k, it's best to make the most of it!!

We are usually down there for a week, but the most days we have done at WDW was 5. This time we are will have 7 days in the parks. I really want to do at least 10 days so we have more down time but I haven't been able to convince DH yet. Maybe on our next trip

This August will be 16 nights at Animal Kingdom Lodge! That'll be the longest by a couple of nights.

We usually do 8/9 nights however this Xmas we will be at Beach Club the week before Xmas and poly the week after Xmas for a total of 15 nights.

This August will be our longest, 10 nights at WDW, 2 at Universal. We're usually the opposite of lengthy, with over 50 overnight stays while visiting family in Miami.
