We will be arriving around 11:20 p.m. in November. I know we will have to claim our own luggage. I am just wondering what other late arrivers have experienced. Do they hold the busses longer to wait for more people to arrive? Are there fewer stops? It's probably hard to know, every trip is different but just thought I'd ask how it has been for others.:)

I arrived at 5:45 a.m. on 9/7 and ME took me, only, right to my hotel (Boardwalk) without ANY wait!!!

Gee, I'm arriving about 11:20 at night in November also. Are we on the same flight? We're flying Delta/Northwest on 11/20.

Our flight is on 11/11 on Northwest/Delta. Our arrival is 11:14 p.m. now, but it has changed twice since I booked in July.

Yes, my flights have change two or three times since we booked. Our flight from MSP to Orlando is still about the same time and it is still direct. Our direct flight from Orlando to MSP is not a direct flight anymore. We now have to stop in Memphis. At least it's on the way home, and not on the way there.

My fear is that there are going to be no lines at the ME line, and we will have to wait for more people to show up before they will leave. Or that there will be very few of us, and we will need to stop at every resort. I keep reminding myself that even though it says 11:15 PM, it's only 10:15 our time, so it should be OK. We've always flown early morning before. But this later flight looked good, and I figured I don't sleep the night before we leave because I'm usually busy doing the last minute packing, and then I'm worried that I'm going to oversleep, since I need to be up by about 4:00 AM to get to the airport in time for a 7:00 AM flight. So if I'm going to be slightly sleepless, I'd rather be in WDW!

My one bad experience with ME happened when we arrived rather late at night. Our flight landed at 11pm, and we were not checked in to our resort until after 1am. We loaded on the bus right away, but we sat there. And sat there. And sat there. I really felt sorry for the people who were on the bus before us, their wait must have been forever! Then we stopped at 3 other resorts before stopping at ours.

Now that ME requires you to get your luggage if you arrive after 10pm I honestly think I would go with a car company if I ever fly in that late again. All my other experiences with ME were good, but that one left a bad taste in my mouth for late night flights into Orlando.

We were going to stay at the hotel in the airport since our flight was arriving so late. We were going to take DME to POR early the next day. We then decided we wanted to get to our resort ASAP. It will be late but we will wake up in the World and get going right away!

Last time we got in at 12:15am and got right on ME and took off for the resort as soon as our luggage was on the bus (we chose NOT to use our tags since we were getting in so late and wanted to take our bags straight to the rooms with us). It was just our party and the bus didn't wait to fill up with others.

Though...even when we've arrived smack in the middle of the day, we've just got on a bus and headed off. Never been on one that's waited around to fill.

We arrived at 11pm on a Friday night last year at the end of August. There was no line we checked in at the desk went right through the resort line and got on the bus right away. There was one other family on the bus. We sat for about an hour for more people to board and then we made several stops before getting to Pop where we were staying.

This is what we did. Something to think about. Our flight got in about 10:30 at night and had heard it could be over 2 hrs before you arrived at your resort. This did not sound like fun with a 5 year old. We rented a hotel room near the airpot use their shuttle and get to sleep asap. The next morning go back to the airport and hop on the ME. This worked out great for us and saved us about $200. I know this is not ideal for everyone.

We always arrive late at night. We still generally average about 70 - 90 minutes to get to our resort.

We don't have any checked bags however, as we have gotten an Owner's Locker, and have what we need for our weekend trips waiting on us at the resort.

(Our flying trips are generally weekend warrior trips cause we have a camper and if we stay longer we're gonna drive with the camper.)
