Hello all!! It's been years since I've been on the boards. I'm finally going back to my favourite place on earth in May!! (Eeeee!!) I'll be traveling with my 3 kids (second time doing Disney as a single mom), 2 of which are now teenagers. We are making this our final family trip before they start focusing on their studies and head off to start their lives.

Now, it's safe to say that Disney is one of the most famous places for their variety of most delectable tasty treats. But that being said, there are almost too many to just go around trying them one at a time. We all know the Mickey ear ice cream bars have some sort of magical ingredient (my guess is crack?) that you become instantly addicted but I need recommendations of the "must haves" and "to die for's" that everyone has tried and loved.

We've tried (and loved)
Dole Whips in MK
Napoleons in France at EP
And the caramel apple in Germany at EP

What other untold gold nuggets are there in the House of Mouse?
Thanks guys!

Ghiradelli ice cream is on my list. I'm hoping AK still has their Jungle Juice slushy by the time I go. And I really want to try an ice cream cookie sandwich. Oh an the American Dream slushy/ice cream combo in Epcot.

I always seem to come home with treats left untried :(

Jungle Juice is a Passionfruit, Orange, and Guava mix - very popular (and served under different names) at many of WDW's breakfast buffets. It is available at Mahindi, a popcorn cart that used to be called Harambe popcorn. Apparently, also available at Mara quick service in AKL. The sign says it costs $13.99 as it comes with a souvenir cup. It is $3.99 or a snack credit without the souvenir cup. The American Dream slushy is available at the American pavilion in Epcot.

Thanks for finding a pic! We'll find it with no problem now :) This is the kind of stuff I want to hear about. This is going on my list to try!!

One of the snacks I recently discovered on our last trip was the zebra domes. I know they can be found at Boma and The Mara (food court) at Animal Kingdom Lodge. I know it's out of the way but I always enjoy going to animal kingdom lodge on non park days. Great way to see some animals without using a park ticket.

Also can't go wrong with an eclair from Les Halles Boulangerie and Patisserie in the France pavilion in Epcot.

If you are in the mood for a chocolate chip cookie, the Boardwalk Bakery has the best, IMO.

Enjoy your treats!!!

Mmmm...elcair.... please do tell, what is a zebra dome??

A Zebra dome is kind of like a Lindt truffle to explain it easily. It is an Amarula Cream Liquor mousse inside a panna cotta-esque white chocolate and drizzled with chocolate and chocolate shavings.

They come in a four pack in The Mara at Animal Kingdom Lodge and you can eat as many as you want if you go to a meal at Boma.

My kids are still talking about the delicious treats they had at the confectionary. My daughter had a Mickey cake pop with marshmallow ears. My son had one of the big Mickey Carmel/chocolate apples.

Oh man, so many amazing ones but when I think about it there are a few treats I massively anticipate each time I go...

1. Mickey crispy treat dipped in chocolate with sprinkles (my friend and I always bring these back for each other when we go to Disney)
2. Dole Whip (of course)
3. The strawberry cupcake from BOG
4. Mango Pie from Yak & Yeti in AK (it's seriously amazing)

I agree. They're SO good. We haven't eaten at Boma, but I've heard they're served warm there (I cannot attest to the accuracy of this); I really like them chilled from the refrigerated case at The Mara!

My absolute favorite thing to eat is the school bread at Kringla Bakeri og Kafe at the Norway pavilion; it's a cardamom bun filled with custard and topped with toasted coconut. It's AMAZING.

What isn't delicious at Disney? ;)

Some of my personal favorites are:

1. Mickey Pretzels with cheese (everything tastes better when it's shaped like Mickey!)

2. Zucchini fries at Tony's Town Square

3. The Grey Stuff cupcake at Be Our Guest... wish there was a way to get this one as a snack without having to get BOG reservations!

MK - Master's and triple chocolate cupcakes at BOG, also the new version of the grey stuff dessert at BOG dinner

Epcot - rice cream and school bread at Kringla bakery in Norway, dark chocolate sea salt caramel at the caramel shop in Germany

AK - tea at the tea cart nearest Everest, Mickey bars (also from a cart near Everest)

DHS - - frozen nutella with raspberry sauce and the pistachio cherry bites at the Star Wars dessert party

AKL - peanut butter brownies at The Mara and passion fruit panna cotta at Boma
