We'll be staying offsite so we'll need to factor that in. Also there will be grandparents with us so I'd love for them to also get a decent meal while watching their grandkids have fun. :)

I happen to really like Chef Mickey. We had dinner there and we really enjoyed it. It was our first night so it was a great intro to the World.

Crystal Palace. The food is great, the atmosphere is wonderful and you can't beat having breakfast w/ Winnie the Pooh and all his friends !!
It's my favorite !!!

And why can't I find accurate prices for these meals?
Am I looking in the wrong place?

I'm with you!! We really love Chef Mickey. Always our first night dinner as well. We know many will disagree, but we think the food is really good at dinner. Selection is definitely limited, but very tasty for a character buffet.

I've done most of them on property. I'd say that CM is VERY LOUD!. I'm not so sure the grandparents would appreciate it. Crystal Palace has good interaction and the food is good. If you choose CP, make the ADR before park opening. You can get some great pics of the castle with very few people in the park But the best character interaction is at Garden Grill. It's relaxing and fairly quiet. Chip kept taking my youngest child's, ok he was 17, fork. He was none to pleased, the kid learned to crawl because he wanted food. :rotfl: The food is grown at WDW and the so are the catfish.

We love Crystal Palace, especially to get an early entry into MK. The park is so amazing before it gets crowded. My favorite pic ever in all my trips to WDW is my daughter standing in front of a foggy Cinderella's castle, with absolutely no one in the background. Plus Winnie and friends are a lot of fun, too!

We also like Cape May breakfast. It's lesser known, and usually not at all crowded, so the character interaction has been great!

I booked breakfast at Crystal Palace at 8:15 for our second day of holiday.
I'm thinking Epcot the first day, and let the kids get warmed up to the characters and then the breakfast at MK before it opens. Sounds great!
Thanks everyone. :)

Cape May! And since you can order from the menu or just use the buffet, everyone has plenty of options.

I really like breakfast at Tusker House. Great food and character interactions.
