Conundrum is a very ripe (even sweet at times) white with a blend of 9 different grape varietals. One of the largest percentages is the chardonnay grape, and this wine is definitely created in the California style.
I would recommend travelling to Jiko and trying some of their South African sauv. blancs, even if just at the bar. The 'new world' climate of South Africa really brings out some interesting flavor profiles in the wine (grapefruit, etc.) Jiko also gets some of the more exciting and boutique wines from S.A.

We love AKL but we seem to have the opposite experience there than most posters, we like the lounge, but were not crazy about Jiko's. You are right, I should plan to get over there, we'll have to give Jiko's another try. Thanks again.

Depending on the part of the country you live in, you might even find it at a liquor store, but in limited quantities. It comes from a small vinyard which produces only a small number of bottles each year. WDW purchases at least half of each vintage. The rest is distributed selectively.
