What's Your Favorite Subway Sub?

Just had a 6" Tuna sub on Monterrey Cheddar bread (with lettuce, tomato, black olives and mayo).

It's my absolute favorite, but everyone thinks it's disgusting!

My DH loves the chicken breast.

My favorite is the tuna sub too, on wheat bread (lettuce, tomato, extra black olives, extra pickles, light on the mayo). I *think* it's supposed to be one of the more calorie laden choices they have. It's a splurge on calories for me. I love a good tuna sub!

Second, favorite is an Italian sub, made pretty much the same way as the tuna (just different meats). :upsidedow

Yeah, I think it's one of the worst they offer ;) Oh well!

6" Italian BMT on whole wheat, toasted with
provolone cheese,
lettuce
tomato
bananna peppers
sweet onion dressing

6" turkey on wheat
no cheese
not toasted
lettuce
pickles
black olives
jalapenos
banana peppers
and if I don't mind wasting some calories that day.. dill spread. :thumbsup2

Veggie Delite on wheat with:
lettuce
tomatoes
cucumbers
black olives
honey mustard sauce

Subway Club on italian bread. Lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, black olives, provolone cheese, whith honey mustard dressing and a splash of vinegar and oil.

How come I can buy the same ingredients at the store and come home, and it doesn't even come close to tasting as good?

Italian bread
NO mayo, oil or mustard
american cheese
lettuce
green peppers
lots of pickles
parmesan cheese

That's it.

I have two:
1. Sweet onion chicken terriyaki with lettuce, tomato, pickles, black olives and sweet onion sauce.

2. Veggie Delite. Same veggies as above, no condiments. YUM!

DH is a fan of the meatball sub with lettuce, tomato, pickles, green peppers, banana peppers, spicey mustard and mayonaise.

Veggie on Wheat, Provolone, Lettuce, Pickles, Spinich, Cuccumber and a bit of mustard.

Used to get shredded carrots but they stoped carrying those.

If I am being bad... Cold Cut Combo with mayo, mustard, vinegar (no oil), pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Not toasted.

If I am trying to be good... Turkey and Ham with mustard, vinegar (no oil), pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and parmesan. Not toasted.

The boyfriend only ever gets the Meatball, toasted, with pepper jack cheese and jalapenos.

Well here is where some of my cheapness shows through. I like the Veggie Delight, but it's the same price as one with meat so I get whatever my DH gets and then take off the meat and he gets extra meat. :rolleyes1

I get
Italian Herb and Cheese Bread
Provolone
Lettuce
Heavy Onion
Heavy Pickle
Olives
Green Peppers
Cucumbers
Sweet Peppers
Banana Peppers
Vinnegar and Oil

I have been in bed all week sick. Haven't been able to eat anything since a grilled cheese at lunch Monday. This actually sounds really good, but since even toast doesn't taste right, not sure my system would be ready for this. Once I am better though...

We just get the meat/cheese on the side since my daughter doesn't eat either. We do this at the local deli too.

MickeyMom, I think it's a great idea... One I will pass on to my mom (a big time "budget" guru...) I can't believe SHE never thought to do that!

I don't see it as cheap, just smart!

I always get a toasted 6" on wheat with chicken, american chesse and lettuce. Occasionally I'll switch it up and get a little bit of marinara sauce instead of lettuce.

I always get roast beef on wheat with american cheese and onions its like a philly i have alot of allergies so cant eat quite a few subs and toppings etc :)

6" Veggie (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, black olives) with Swiss cheese on Italian herbs & cheese bread with one stripe of sweet onion sauce and one stripe of honey mustard

YUM! :woohoo:
