What's your favorite restaurant in Disney World?

Victoria and Alberts is amazing but I have not experienced the new chef’s menu with set courses.

For signature meals I love Jiko, the others I find overhyped.
Boma is my favorite buffet followed by Biergarten.
Really enjoyed Wine Bar George but we only had lots and lots of wine and one cheese plate so not sure about food yet, although I am pretty sure it will be good.
Best brunch CA Grill (not a fan of their dinner despite 4 attempts).
Love the lounges especially Nomad, Tutto Gusto, Brown Derby, and Victoria Falls.

Top three are Liberty Tree Tavern lunch, Olivia's, and Yak and Yeti. Artist Point used to be on the list, pre-character meal.

For food / view- California Grill
For character meal- Garden Grill
For theming- Sci Fi or Be Our Guest

What is everybody's favorite restaurant in Disney World?

I'm looking for some new places to try when I take my mom down in August! It can be in the parks, resorts or Disney Springs!

California Grill.

For breakfast I will say Kona and Grand Floridian Cafe
Signature - Jiko, Flying Fish
Regular dinner - Wave, Raglan Rd, Homecomin, Sebastian's
Character - Tusker House

Boma (TS Buffet at AKL).

First, second, and third of all zebra domes.

But also, we love buffets as we can eat and leave at our own pace. While the menu could be more adventurous, it is interesting. We are always there at opening, and the buffet is fully stocked and they are %100.00 ready. It can be a slog depending on where you on property, but we go at least twice per trip.

Had our BEST meal at Naecoossees in 2014 on my birthday. Amazing server and we watched "Wishes" from the "balcony" area. Going to Homecomin in Nov for my birthday. Im a sucker for pimento cheese and fish dip, so Im excited for the Jasper Board. Ive also won a contest for my Hummingbird cake, so cant wait to try theirs!
Then I'd like to try yours because I'll bet it's better than his! I was excited to try this amazing cake as well and while I wouldn't call it bad, it surely was nothing special. Now granted I didn't know what hummingbird cake was, but it didn't live up to it's name. I guess I was expecting a light, airy masterpiece lol....it was more like banana nut bread with frosting to me. It seemed dense and I'm all about light and fluffy. In fact we didn't care for the food there. Being from deep south, we were expecting it to be like your grandma's cooking with fat back and have that scratch taste. Sadly it was more like Paula Deen's "upscale" homecookin' where they kinda ruin it by adding too many new or unusual seasonings to make it their own. My friend had to send hers back because she didn't like the weird seasonings in the bbq. I guess I need to keep in mind that none of these places are going to be what I would call out of this world simply because they are trying to feed the masses and I just don't think you have much hope in things being great when you have to make such big batches.

I'm a tried and true Ohana girl myself. I've probably been 27 times out of my 30 visits lol. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal there, but I could do without the menu fiddling. Why these restaurants feel that they have to keep changing things is beyond me? It's not like people are going to get tired of something they get to eat maybe once a year. If anything, I think more people get annoyed that they look forward to their favorite thing and they get there and it's gone. Just leave things alone, people aren't coming back each week and getting bored with your menus! It's a resort for Pete's sake!

I think we are between D-LUXE and Polite Pig for Quick Service right now. We haven't had a bad time at either. I love the variety and beer options at Polite Pig and D-LUXE has some of the best burgers on property. As for Table Service, we are all over the place - I think this comes with things changing all the time. A constant for us has been Brunch at Fort Wilderness - everyone is usually satisfied when we leave and the atmosphere is 100!

Victoria & Albert's
Via Napoli - the only TS we must repeat
Satuli Canteen - the best QS
Geyser Point/Nomad Lounge tie - for the wonderful ambiance at off-peak times. I could sit there all day

I looked at his recipe and Im pretty sure mine is better, I roast the bananas and puree the pineapple, so my cake is moist but not dense like banana bread and my cream cheese frosting is very light...I might not like this place. Im from Chicago, but Id visit family in Florida and Texas as a kid, so I ate a lot of Southern cooking. I make very good buttermilk biscuits. One Gram was a cook at a retirement home and the other owned a bakery, so they taught me a LOT. Im frequently disappointed at restaurants.

My 2 must eat every stay no matter what are Sci-fi and Yak and Yeti.
But my best meal ever was at San Angel Inn. It was almost my husbands least favorite meal so ymmv.

Signature-Tiffins, Cali Grill, Citricos
Table Service-Frontera Cocina, Kona, Homecomin',

Love Boma for breakfast, Jiko for dinner and Frontera Cocina in Disney Springs for the pumpkin seed hummus and cochinita pibil anytime I can get it!
