This one is my favorite... for now :earsboy:

"Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be." - A.Lincoln

::yes:: Very, very true!

I don't know who quoted this, but my belief is there is always a:

Ying/Yang to life.

"Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm."

-- Winston Churchill

"SOme of Gods greatest gifts are unanswered prayers"
is one of mine :)
Hi Jenny :wave2:

"love life, engage in it, give it all you've got. love it with a passion, because life truly does give back, many times over, what you put into it" --Maya Angelou

"....At the end of my life I do not wish to find that I had not begun to live..."

- Henry David Thoreau

"I'm better than dirt. Well, most kinds of dirt, not that fancy store-bought dirt... I can't compete with that stuff." - Moe from The Simpsons

I saw this quote yesterday in a story about John Wooden.

We can do no great things,
only small things with great love.
Mother Teresa

Carpe Diem

and the quote in my siggy.

don't know the author....

"Nothing tates as good as thin feels"
"Life is short, live it and don't worry about the pricetag"

"They who would give up essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security." Benjamin Franklin

The one in my siggy and "In the cookie of life friends are the chocolate chips."

I also like, "I never let my schooling get in the way of my education" (Mark Twain), but thats cause I'm in college ;)

"If you're happy, cool. If you try to be somebody else you're a fool. If you're happy, cool, cuz that's all there is." - song by Colony from the movie Rat Race

"...We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented." ~Elie Wiesel

"So tell me, what will you do with your one wild and precious life?" ~Mary Oliver

My 2 homemade tags, for starters..."laugh every day, even if it is at yourself" and "the nut doesn't fall far from the tree". The first one I tell to myself daily--I think that a sense of humor is very important and am the first to laugh, even if it is at myself. The second one I tell my kids a lot :teeth:

I also like like, "these are the good ole days" because I think it's easy to forget that in the course of everyday living. It's hectic right now with my kids (and has been for the last 18 years LOL), but I know that there will come a day that I will really miss all that I now have. I sure don't want to wish today away!

I also like "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans".

I know there are lots more since I'm a "sayings person" (as opposed to a sane person ;) )...I love sayings and quotes.

"Living well is the best revenge."
by George Herbert
