What's your favorite place to eat in MK?

The Plaza (TS)- yummy sandwiches, steak fries and crazy:upsidedow good desserts.
CHH (CS) - love the fried shrimp plate.
Cosmic Rays (CS) - for the variety...(a bit of a pain in the tail to wait in different lines).

For TS, I love breakfast at the Crystal Palace. It's got the best breakfast food in all of WDW IMO. The restaurant in pretty and Pooh and friends are fun.

For CS, I adore CHH. It's pretty decent quality and the items are a bit different than pizza and burgers.

We usually end up at Crystal Palace for the awesome character interaction. And the food is great (we've had both breakfast and dinner there).

And I absolutely love the Columbia Harbour House for the Lighthouse Sandwich (hummus and broccoli slaw). I've tried to recreate this at home, but I'm better off just going to WDW more often to have it! :) :goodvibes

Well...

TS:

DH and I both agree that Crystal Palace is the SHIZ for breakfast :)

CS:

Myself: CHH due to the menu options. The food is really good and it has a few selections that are completely different from that of the majority of CS restauants. Close 2nd is Cosmic Rays because of the larger selection and general satisfaction with our meals there (other than the time DH ordered a turkey wrap... and got a turkey wrap with everything in it EXCEPT turkey lol) The chicken and ribs combo is always a hit.

DH: Pecos Bill because he likes the taco salad and if he's actually in the mood for a burger, it must be from here due to the fixin's bar. That makes the normal burger fair of WDW much better. For some reason he likes the burgers better here than at Cosmic Rays. I think they are the same lol.

Crystal Palace is probably my favorite too. Our last trip we also did Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch. I was impressed with the food. It is no longer character dining over there, but the food was good.

We like CHH for CS.

We don't care for any of the TS options. CRT had good food, but wasn't worth the price for us since we aren't there for the princesses. The food at LTT was ok, but not worth buffet price IMHO. DH didn't care at all for CP for dinner. I'd go there again for DS2 to see Pooh and friends, but again, the food is just ok. Lots of quantity, little quality. We haven't gone to Tony's (neither are huge on Italian) and will be trying the Plaza for lunch on our trip in June.

On the other hand, we LOVOE  MK and wish it has more options (like Epcot!) We usually ride over to a resort in the area and do dinner there.

I have only been to Cosmic Rays, but their burgers were really good. Also the toppings bar was very nice.

Honestly, I think that the dining choices at MK are a shame. There isn't one TS meal that we enjoy so we always leave for Epcot at dinner time. Exception: dining at the Poly - we like O'hana and Kona (maybe Contemporary, too, we just haven't tried it yet)
The CS choices are really bad, too, IMO, compared to those at the World Showcase. If it wasn't so inconvenient, we'd make the trip to Epcot for lunch everyday, too!

Casey's Hot dogs smothered with everything and a small cup of Corn Dog Nuggets. I could eat those for almost every meal they are so good. Then afterwards going over to Edy's Ice Cream and getting a Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream sundae. :cool2:

We love Columbia harbor House, the Tuna sandwich on whole grain bread is one of the best at WDW IMO. My son loves the vegetarian chili. The salads are fresh and really good. I try to stay away from too much fried food but I have to say the Fried shrip platter is tasty!

For a quicker bit or snack we also like Casey's Corner, the little corn dog bites are great, fried but oh so tasty!

Cosmic Rays over the years I've grown tired, we're done with the burger thing, but we still eat there from time to time, the turkey bacon wrap and pork sandwich are goo, they come with these delicious eclipse chips, OMG they are really good, like fresh potato chips.

Thank heavens we walk off what we eat~

TS: Tony's and LTT
CS: Pecos Bill and CHH

Why? Because we think they're good! ;)

We love Liberty Tree Tavern (LTT). We love the variety and quality of food. We have also had wonderful service on each visit. It is a great place to go for a sit-down, home-cooked meal.

(Both of our visits to LTT were after the characters were no longer there.)

Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch! Yum! I think the ala carte menu is awesome. :thumbsup2 So many good things to choose from. While I miss the characters now that we've actually tried the lunch, this restaurant is still a must-do for my family. So good!

Cosmic Ray's is the best in the park for CS in my opinion. I just love having all the choices for my family to choose from. Especially after being in the parks after a few days - hamburgers can get old, but if someone still wants one it's still an option here. Plus the chicken and rib platter is a great value!

Crystal Palace, for the food, character interaction, and atmosphere. Also gotta love the 8:05 ADR before rope drop :)

Another one for LTT for lunch. Haven't been there for dinner but every trip we eat there for lunch and it's the bees knees! :)
