black berries in oregon are an invasive species. They grow everywhere. Thorny and very long vine, they are difficult to harvest and the thorn pain has always helped with inept needle stickers at the cancer center...so in Oregon, i freeze the fruit, as it more seed than pulp. unless an extreme rainy season than more fruit. the freezing breaks down the pulp and when pull out the bag to thaw for muffins, the juice is at the very bottom..I insert the straw into the bag...oh my,...it is the necatar of mythology...so delicious.
I also straw the watermelon jucie when served the end cap.
WYF method to freeze fruit ?
