Hmmmmm....that IS a fun topic and a hard question to boot. I like what Disney Dreams said - I am not Jewish, but I know my Jewish friends would appreciate getting some recognition in DLR in terms of decor. They have said as much.
This is not something that is overlooked, by any means, and perhaps is a very unoriginal choice, but I really like the quest for Hidden Mickeys. I like stumbling upon them accidentally. I like searching really hard for one and finding it. I like the different shapes and sizes they come in, some being very abstract and hard to distinguish.
Oh, and these may be overlooked by people who are not obsessively into Disney as I am (like my friends who just sort of love Disney), but I love the animated window displays on Main Street - I think that gives a real charm to that area of DL - and I love the 'edible' plants (fruits, herbs, vegetables) in Tomorrowland. Those are easily overlooked by folks who think they are just regular plants. I also really enjoy the Christmas ornament shop tucked away in New Orleans Square, which is easily overlooked. It is nice to have a little dose of the holidays year round.
Those are my 'things,' I guess. The things I like to look for and that some folks may miss out on seeing. But really, the parks are chock full of little tucked away gems like that.
