Whats YOUR favorite Moderate Disney Resort?

We've stayed at POFQ and loved it! The pool and theming are very relaxing. The rest of my family stayed at POR last June and also enjoyed it--possibly more so since the French Quarter no longer has a full-service restaurant, and Riverside does. We've never stayed at CBR simply because it looks (to us, at least) too spread out and we'd rather stay where everything is closer together.

We like CBR because of the theming and the fact that it is soooooo close to MGM and Epcot.

POFQ for sure. And for all the same reasons everyone else has said. Smaller grounds, awesome theming, cool pool, good foodcourt....

We have stayed here many times, and it is our favorite moderate hotel. It is themed much better than CSR, and is beautiful-the pool is great! There is a great bridge with tropical birds and a playground, and even ducks to feed! We also enjoyed the restaurants there.

stayed at CSR, POR, POFQ

I think with a young child of 4, you would like POFQ..small resort, easy to get around and the pool is great for her.

I personally love CSR now that my kids are teens. Much bigger resort, but seems more for my kids to do.

If landscaping and grounds are an issue for you, go with CSR, if not do POFQ

CSR!! Check out my website below for reasons why (pics and info).

CORONADO SPRINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is just beautiful! The pool is great, the food courts blow the other mods away, the lake....ahhhh...the lake!

CSR is my new favorite resort!! We just return a few weeks ago from our trip and the place is truly gorgeous!

I have never stayed at CSR, but of the others I preferred POFQ. last time we were there, It was just Port Orleans, Riverside was Dixie landings, so it had a restaurant, etc. My kids loved the pool, I loved how close everything was for walking and the boat ride to DTD was great. I enjoyed CBR except with young kids, our room was on the far side of the lake, getting to the food court, etc. was a huge pain. We had a beautiful beach view though. Would have loved to go there with just DH!

I have only stayed at 1 mod...POFQ...

I loved it so much....going back in Aug....free dining:cool1:

My next mod pick will be CSR though.....but I wont do it in the
summer......too much walking.

CBR! It has beautiful lanscaping, great theme, a great main pool, a quiet pool in each island, good sized rooms, great foodcourt, bikes, boats and Banana Cabana Pool Bar! :thumbsup2

This is the only moderate we've been to, but we absolutely loved everything about it and will be returning hopefully in January!

Our family stayed at POR and loved it. We were at the resort on easter week of 2006. Disney was wall to wall crazy (never again in April, nother story for another time) The resort however was quiet and relaxing. It saved the vacation because the parks were overwhelming.
I went over to the CSR one evening just to check it out and noticed that it was beautiful. The place was very large though and I had to take one of the golf carts provided for transportation inside the resort. I observed that most of the guests in the lobby area and Maya Grill were business people. Very nice grounds at CSR but atmosphere goes to POR.:thumbsup2

POFQ was great. We liked that it was small and quick to walk anywhere on property. Only a short 7-10 minute stroll to POR and loved the boat ride to DTD!

We had no problems getting seats on buses and waiting times. The setting is really pretty and peaceful as well.

and why???:confused3
my favorite is the port orleans french quarter - it is smaller than the carribean beach or the riverside so easier to get to food and pools wherever your room is, the food in the food court is very good and the bus service was decent as well. I loved the boat to downtown disney option too.

so far my favorite is CSR for the themeing, the beauty of it, and to me it feels very laid back and relaxed there. :thumbsup2

I stayed at CBR twice back when I was 17 and again at 19 with my girlfriends... it was my first trip to disney without parents! and I loved it.. but I haven't been back since so I can't really comment on it... at the time though I loved the carribean theme and the music that's played in the food court/main area.

I did POR back when it was dixie landing with my family and it was very nice....

but for some reason I just LOVE CSR.. I've stayed there twice.. once with my family and once with my sister.. both times it was great. Plus, don't they have a spa and gym there as well?

I'm staying at POFQ in about two months... never been there yet.. so maybe that will end up being my favorite though! :yay:
