What's your favorite hotel?

I'm so sheltered-the Von Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, VT & WDW Polynesian (Club Level, Hawaii Building!!)

The Omni Mt. Washington in New Hampshire. We had a great weekend with the kids there doing snow tubing and using the indoor pool, quite a nice respite in the New England winter.

The Royal Pacific and Animal Kingdom Lodge in the Orlando area. I'm also fond of the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs and the Menger in San Antonio. I used to love the Royal Sonesta in New Orleans but it has been a while.

Just for general travel, I like the Doubletree or Holiday Inn Express.

The Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island is my favorite, even though we have only stayed there once. Would love to stay there again but just can't justify the price. Coming in next is the Chippewa Hotel on Mackinaw Island.

We also love the suites at the Drury Inn, Frankenmuth.

Another favorite is the Hilton Doubletree in Port Huron, used to be the Thomas Edison Inn.

We really enjoyed the Grand Hotel too. The service was amazing.
