There are recipes? Proportions? LOL, I just pour and taste.
disneyfan, I loved the Empress Lily, I took my mother and my son there many years ago for lunch, it was a really nice place, great food, fabulous service.
I've got a couple suggestions, left over from college.
Bacardi Limon and 7-up.
Blue Curaco (sp?) and Mountain Dew
In a blender....Pink Lemonade, Amaretto, and Ice. VERY good!
I love Blue Curacao!! (as well as Kahlua and Amaretto! ) The blender thing sounds yummy!! What type of lemonade do you use - frozen or premix? Not crazy about the idea of taking a blender with me for the weekend, but for the sake of a good drink, I may have to do so...
lewski709... is amaretto really good with diet coke? I would love to have amaretto sours, but wasn't keen on dealing with the messiness of the sour mix. Diet coke would be much easier!
You want a sweet drink? Make a chocolate covered cherry. Equal parts of creme de cocoa, amaretto, and kaluha (sp? on all of those ). A grape crush is good, too. Equal parts chamboard or chateu monet, vodka, and sweet and sour mix, then fill up glass with 7-up or sprite. Have fun!!
Disneyfan551, I'm like you. I like the sweet drinks. My latest favorite is called a cream soda. Stoli Vanilla and ginger ale. I don't know the exact proportions, but 2 parts vodka to 1 part ginger ale might be right.
