In all the years we've been going to WDW I don't think we've ever had a decent CS meal at MGM. What is your favorite CS meal at MGM and what restaurant does it come from?

honestly, none.

at MGM, we'll eat at sci-fi, 50s or brown derby

maybe get some fruit over on that street by TOT

but no CS for us

We have to agree. We've never really been fond of the counter service food at MGM. In recent years we've hiked it to the Boardwalk and eaten at either the fabulous hot dog stand or the Beach Club Marketplace.

Even though it gets a lot of bad replies on here, my family and I enjoy the ABC Commissary. We thought the food was very good and service was very fast, plus it's a nice place to get out of the hot Florida sun to have a relaxing meal.

We are not to fond of any of the restaurants at MGM either.

We have been to the Commissary and its been mediocre at best.

The Backlot express is about the same.

No favs for dinner either.
We try to go elsewhere for ADRs.

Personally, the Backlot Express is probably my favorite out of all the CS places in MGM, but I'm not that picky when it comes to counter-service--give me chicken fingers, french fries, and honey-mustard dipping sauce, and I'm a happy camper. :-D

The flatbread grill/Studio Catering company was okay. Pizza Planet was okay. But nothing to write home about! :)

None!!! We eat lunch and dinner TS at MGM.

We like the bagels with lox for breakfast at Starring Rolls, and DD4 is a big Buzz fan, so we tried Pizza Planet last Sept. The food was not great, kinda like one step above frozen pizza.

I have to say that for DD and I it is Pizza Planet. While I am not that big on the food, I agree with pp that is just above frozen pizza, dd is very happy with it - which in turn makes for a very pleasant meal (inspite of the food quality). LOL!

We eat at either ABC or Pizza Planet. Agreed that the food is nothing special, it is OK and at least at the commissary there are lots of seats and a chance to relax for a bit.

we usually try not to eat at MGM...
the few times we have, it was TS... we did Sci Fi (cousin loves it, and the onion rings were quite yummy)
As far as CS... I think we ate at ABC for breakfast and it was edible, just not memorable :lmao:

We really enjoy Toy Story Pizza Planet especially now that they have salads, too. I think the Flatbread place is supposed to be pretty good, also. We did not enjoy ABC Commissary and haven't been back.

we ate cs lunch between 1130-1200 and backlot express had a juicy fresh burger DH loved last year. hope this info helps.
