What's your favorite Character Breakfast?

I like the character breakfast at the Cape May Cafe. It doesn't seem as crazy busy as the others, and I always have great character interaction (especially from Goofy). One time when I was there, I drew a picture of Goofy, and when he came to my table, I showed it to him. He sat down, and drew a picture of me. :)

The food is your typical buffet food, but there is a good selection, and it's always fresh.

1900 Park Faire is excellent for breakfast - Alice and Mad Hatter always put on a show, and Mary Poppins is my favorite movie of all time, so any day with Mary is a jolly holiday.

The dinner there is also not to be missed - Cinderella's step mother and step sisters are totally in character and are a riot! And where else do Cindy and Prince Charming have a dance?

And food is above average for a buffet in both cases.

I'll also put in a plug for Hollywood & Vine - if your kids are into Playhouse Disney (and my two teenagers are :cool1: ) then you will get more character interaction than at any other restaurant just because this one is rarely full. The food was average but we had a lot of fun there. And the kids get up and dance with the characters and a couple of singers.

Donalds Breakfast (Tusker House at Animal Kingdom)!! I love the buffet! There is SO much to choose from you could get lost! And the food is great! And yes... they have Mickey waffles! :goodvibes The characters are in their safari gear and you get Daisy! It is a great place for breakfast! :thumbsup2

Not only favorite breakfast but favorite character meal ever :thumbsup2

Glad to hear good things about Tusker House! Will be going there for the first time in less than 2 weeks!:yay:

My kids are little and we could do Disney alot but we can't financially. But my DD(3) loves Crystal Palace. I think for my DS first B-day we are going to do CHef Mickey's or Cape May Cafe this time.

Crystal Palace as early as possible in the morning-preferably right when it opens (before the park even opens!)

The setting is magical, and getting to see down Main Street when its basically empty is quite the sight!

The food is delicious, plentiful and fresh, and the characters (Pooh!) are some of the best...i have been going to this breakfast since I was little (about 20 years ago!) and its my fave....Mickey waffles and piles of bacon...need I say more?

I have to agree the Crystal Palace on our first MK morning at 8 am is the best! Love walking down an empy mainstreet, enjoying nice hot fresh food and meeting Pooh and friends. It is such a great way to start our vacation!:goodvibes

I'm a Goofy fan and loved Cape May Cafe.

But I cannot wait 'til my daughter is old enough to enjoy the Princesses @ Akershus......she wasn't ready when we took her to Crystal Palace....

I'd say Chef Mickey's or Tusker House because they both have Mickey Mouse!! We went to Tusker House for the first time back in November and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. I think that the buffet may actually be better than CM's because of the variety of both typical and African style breakfast foods :thumbsup2

Don't know if your daughter is old enough to care about the princesses, but mine really liked the breakfast at Askershus. They liked the princess parade, and the picture with Belle that is included is darling. The breakfast is also very good - sweet rolls, bagels and berries are self serve and then they bring a platter with potato casserole, sausage, bacon and scrambled eggs.

Not sure if it was because it was early in the day or what - but all the princesses were really enthusiastic (Snow White wanted my older daughter to meet Doc, since he has glasses like hers - great to see my serious daughter giggle!)and the kids around us were happy and well behaved.

We have tried CP, TH, Ohana, and CRT. They all were very good, but I have to say that CP and Ohana are our favorites.

Well we've only tried CRT and Tusker House for breakfast, and though its a close one I'd probably say Tusker House just since its buffet and more types of food to choose from. I think almost any of them would be fun though.

Thanks for all the great feed back. I think based on everyone's opinions, we'll try Tusker House, I like the idea of trying to get an ADR before the park opens, eating and going strait to Kilmanjaro safari. Sounds like a real good variety of food, and I'm excited to meet Daisy. I can't wait for June 14th, I'm so ready to make ADRs now.:hourglass Thanks everyone!

Crystal Palace - They have the best Breakfast Pizza and I get to see Tigger! :)
