There are so many things to do at Walt Disney World! What are your favorite things to do there besides the theme parks? :confused3

Fishing excursions, Cirque, parasailing, race car driving...the list goes on and on. We are going back in January and I know there has to be many things we haven't tried.... what all is there to do and which are the best?

I love Resort Hopping--usually the monorail route.

In the past...mouse boats are fun!

And it is theme park related--but a backstage tour is on my "to do" list--probably many years from now, though.

Love going parasailing and going on the water mice.

Also spending the evening at teh Boardwalk if a lot of fun.

My wife and I love to stop by the hammocks at the Poly (on the beach) or Cornado Springs, and snuggle and take a snooze :goodvibes

Holiday decoration tour, and hanging out at Fort Wilderness (ok, I am a geek, but I like the lawnmower tree, the horses, watching kids at the petting zoo, the farrier, and the peacocks) It's much emptier there now that River Country and Discovery Island closed, and makes a nice break on a busy day.

Going to the Adventurer's Club...Cirque du Soliel...and resort hopping which for us includes a meal there....yep! Eating our way thru WDW is a good thing too!!!

Ride the Monorail and hop off and check out the Kingdom Resorts.

Mouse Boats are great!!

Downtown Disney-Team Disney is my personal fav!

SHOPPING at downtown disney

Yep! Same here. I think about shopping at DTD almost every single day when I'm in planning mode. :) Already today I must have thought atleast 10 times "I can't wait to go to the new Mickey Mart!"

Sitting on the beach at the Poly watching the water pageant.
Renting a surrey bike at Boardwalk and riding around the lake.
Checking out other resorts.
Playing mini-golf at Winter Summerland.
Shopping at Downtown Disney

Horseback riding and renting canoes at FW. We haven't done the horse riding because our kids are younger but I'm pretty sure they still have it. We rented canoes a couple of years ago that was pretty good quiet getaway.
Also if you have kids then the campfire at FW is fun too (and free).

With all the things to do at FW it's a wonder I've never stayed there. I'll have to rectify that soon. ;) :cool1:

Going to Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon and floating around and around and around for hours.....

Shopping at Downtown Disney - sitting on the benches by the lake at night
Boardwalk for shopping and watching the street entertainers
Beaches and Cream - yum!!!
