Hi, We are thinking of going this October 13-18. When does the MNSSHP usually happen? Are Oct. hours usually decent? Spectro will be likely to run sometime?
Thank you!!

I have been twice in October. Both times it was very warm. You can check allearsnet.net for historic MNSSHP dates, and hours. Spectromagic would more than likely run on a Saturday night.

We have gone the last two years about that time. This past year the crowds were larger than before. Also it is still hot at that time. I think the beginning of the week was still in the 90's and by the time we left it was low 80's. Very unpredictable weather. Ususally there are showers each afternoon. In spite of all that it really is a pretty good time to go. You just need to be aware of all the different variables.

We went this past October. The weather was incredible!! We had only one 1/2 hour rain shower the entire 8 days. It felt less humid than our previous trip in June. We didn't get wiped out by the heat nearly as soon.

We still enjoyed both the water parks and I got a spectacular sunburn on our last day!! (My own fault, I forgot the sunscreen.)

We loved MNSSHP!! It was great.

Sigh.....I want to go back this October, but I think my extended family is going to make me go to the beach, yuck!!

Maybe we will make it in December.

I went last October- the 3-9. It was quite crowded due to the Wishes/PhilharMagic/Mission Space premieres. It was also pretty warm- 80's-low 90's daily with moderate to high humidity. It downpoured once though, which was less often than when we went in March. MNSSHP occured twice while we were there; I don't know if the dates for this year's MNSSHP is even out yet. Spectro was shown only on Saturday night. The park hours were okay- I believe MGM closed at 7, MK varied, Epcot at 9 and AK at 5.

Thank you! I think we are going to do it! We went last May, and a return trip this soon is unusual for us, BUT...we want to take my parents and the parents aren't getting any younger and you also don't have forever with your kiddos, so...I've talked myself into it! What the heck, let's go back in Oct. 8 months away!
