We have a full day planned. Probably will go back to hotel if a break is needed - in August. Plus another evening planned there.

go....!

Hi! We're going in August too. We usually go in October so this trip will be different I'm sure!

This is our EPCOT plan -
Get to the park early! Rope Drop!
Ride Test Track
Ride Mission Space (FP+)
Breakfast at Sunshine Seasons
Ride Soarin (FP+)
Ride Living with the Land (if the wait is reasonable)
Visit the Seas (not the ride, just look at the fishies)
Ride Spaceship Earth (FP+)
Leave the park (should be ~12pm)
Rest at resort
Arrive back at Epcot ~ 3pm - tour World Showcase Mexico>Canada
Dinner at LeCellier at 6:00pm
Tour World Showcase after dinner Canada>Mexico
Leave the park before Illuminations starts

We eat breakfast at Ohana, get on Epcot monorail, FP Soarin, SB Mission Space, walk around countries throughout day, dinner at Le Cellier, watch Illimunations and back to resort

Our strategy on last trip was to be there before rope drop (park opened 8:50-8:55am on 9am park day). We like Soarin' better than Test Track, and we don't mind walking.

Soarin' standby
Test Track standby (line was already 30+ minutes, so we rode single rider)
Mission Space 9:30-10:30am FP
The Land (for some weird reason, this line got big mid-morning)
Spaceship Earth 10:30-11:30am FP
Nemo
(one day we ate lunch Sunshine Seasons before Soarin')
Soarin' 11:30am-12:30pm FP
Figment
(other day we ate lunch Le Cellier after Soarin')

On Sunshine Seasons lunch day, we went to Mexico and worked our way around countries clockwise. On Le Cellier lunch day, we worked our way around counter-clockwise.

Unfortunately, our strategy is the same every single time for Epcot. We don't feel like there are a lot of options.

1st day - Test Track, Mission Space, Spaceship Earth
2nd day - Soarin', Mission Space, Spaceship Earth

We rope drop the other headliner depending on which day. We have also never been able to get a 4th FP+ for either headliner, no matter how early we burned the first 3.

Rope drop Soarin with a FP for it later. I will ride it a second time if wait is 10 mins or less when I exit, which it often is. Ride Living with the Land. FP for Spaceship Earth and alternate the third for Nemo or Figment, not that I really need them for those but I have to do something with them.

Lunch is always a QS. Dinner at a TS unless I park hop.

For me, it's easy... I travel alone so I get a Soarin FP and use single rider for TT. None of the rest actually need a FP but to use my limit I usually get one for SSE and MS. As I said, nothing else is necessary at all. The thing about TT is that they do have an option and that is the single rider. You might have to break up your group, but, it is possible without a FP and a limited wait time. I get them all as early as possible and then either just randomly wander around Epcot or hop to a different park in the PM.

On arrival day....

Be there by 11:00.
Spaceship Earth FP -12-1 (figure if I'm delayed this is easy to change)
Test Track FP with rider swap 1-2
World Showcase 1:30-5:30
Living in the Land
Soarin' with rider swap 6-7
Garden Grill 6:55
Character Spot 8-9 FP
Illuminations

Another morning EMH
Soarin'
Nemo
Crush FP 9-10
Test Track 10-11 FP with rider swap
Mission Space 10-11 with rider swap
I won't use my third
World Showcase 11-2
