It's that one contract that you love to brag about, that steal of a deal that has some of your fellow Disboarders jealous! Let it shine here and maybe we can dream it will happen again (Please don't argue about who's is better, let's keep it fun )

Which one was it? When did you purchase it? How much did you save with all those stackable perks/subsidized/sellers paying maint fees etc?

** I'll go first with my SSR, 250 points purchased this month at $82 pp, sellers paid MF **

For us it was BLT during the spring 2009 webcast promotion. Base price was $112/pt, but incentives for our first contract made it $96/pt. More points and the incentive was down to $91/pt. Sheer dumb luck on timing.

Problem is GCV was a far better deal and we passed. IIRC, we passed on $87 or $89/pt. More points would have been $85/pt.

Mine would be my 205 Aul subsidized for $97.50 per point. Loaded.

I also got a 50 point Aul subsidized for $93 per point unstripped. On this one I bought it as a normal Aulani with a hunch of a feeling about it and it ended up being subsidized.

I need to go back and read what subsidized means. Do you travel to aulani often?

It’s normally disclosed and that’s why the price per point is higher than typical resales. Subsidized means lower maintenance fees.

We will go once a year, the rest are SAP since I believe Aul-s is the ultimate SAP contracts.

We bought 85 points at VGC for $88/pt in 2011, before resale buyers were treated any differently than direct. We were living in LA at the time. That’s been an awesome thing to own!

Yes! And I did sell SSR for more! I have benefited from rising prices and of course, turned around and spent even more to buy other points!!

I did lose on one or two of my sales though….but not when you consider the trips I got from it!

I think island garden view is the best bang for your points at Aulani. Get it while you can before Atlantis gets built.

OKW at $55 per point sold at $72 per point a few years later. BWV at $62 per point in the early 2000’s and still using it now.

Oh wow im glad I get to stay there before that happens, but at the same time its also kind of exciting to me!

It will bring much needed more things to do in the area and the one in the Bahamas has a plethora of dining options. Im sure we will be able to buy day passes then go "home" right next door.

Hopefully their safety standards are greater than in the Bahamas That "lazy" river was rough albeit fun. If they have the adult tower like in the Bahamas I would def sell some points and stay here! I can only imagine what the prices will be as they are insane in the Bahamas and Hawaii is $$$

I was surprised by how unsafe it was when we went there. If they brought the elevated shake shack here and poseidons table I would be really happy
