I am researching our upcoming Oct trip and I have no experience with Airtran (never heard of them) we used to fly Spirit or JetBlue. But they are offering the best rates and reasonable departure times to and from.
I have read alot of negative reviews on other sites.
*cramped/narrow seats
*flight schedule changes (although since this is a smaller airport, maybe less likely?)
*no e ticket
*no ability to select seats unless you pay $5 pr person and even then you are not always allowed to purchase seats that are marked "open" online.
*no food (does this mean no beverage cart?)
If you have had a different experience please post.
