What's wrong with search?

The last couple of times I have done a search of something I posted earlier in the week I come up with nothing. I tried searching by my user name and I tried searching by subject and still nothing. I posted a question about Luray Caverns last week and can find it nowhere. UGH.

Nothing wrong with the search, you are not using the correct link to get to it.
Some prefer this engine.

The Search Feature has been broken for quite a long time. I would recommend searching the DIS using Google with the following link: http://www.google.com/search?q=+site:http://www.disboards.com&hl=en&lr=&safe=images

Finding your OWN posts is even easier. I "subscribe" automatically to every thread I post to (WITHOUT email notification). Once I'm subscribed to a thread I can check all my subscriptions by clicking on "UserCP".
