What's with no wireless internet?

There are lots of reasons wifi is convenient and helpful.

I agree that the locations of the wired outlets are very inconvenient, at least at OKW. But it really is pretty simple to connect your own router if you want the convenience of wi-fi. And I think I prefer that to a resort-wide wireless system. There are some hotels/motels where it is just awful.

Honestly, since Disney ADR's are so easily accessed online, I find it much less time consuming to use my laptop to make ADRs while at Disney, rather than call the dining line and wait, wait, wait on hold. So there are certainly advantages to bringing your electronics with you.

No doubt - I'm not among those bothered that Disney doesn't offer wifi. I keep an Airport Express in one of my Owner's Lockers.

I have to agree with Chuck, we don't spend hours on our computer while on vacation but it is nice to be able to make, cancel ADRs online, it nice to have access to maps and google if you looking for a local restaurant or need a pharmacy or store.

Sometimes I like to check the weather back home.

I too wish the connection was in the living area, as sometimes I like to stay up and others like to go to bed.

Seriously, if having wifi is that important to your vacation, then I feel pretty sad for your traveling companions. Try spending some quality time together and not on the computer! Just saying....
