Same song.........different verse. Not wanting to start the same old arguments, but just making a few recent trip observations.
The trip started by having to spend our first night in a Smoking Room after a medical request that was 7 months in advance. (Yes I know that these are just requests). That should have been a sign though because I saw more smoking than on any previous trip. SEVERAL instances of people walking through the Parks openly smoking.....smoking on the Friendship Boat, smoking by the VWL pools, smoking in restaruants. I really could not believe the number of people openly ingoring the smoking regulations. And the few times I pointed it out to castmembers, they seemed unconcerned and did nothing. Even the check-in cast member thought it was no big deal to put us in a smoking room the first night.
Our trip was great and we did not let this spoil the magic, but I really hope this is not a trend or a sign of things to come.
