What's up with this

Also, if you're in a glass house... you probably shouldn't walk around in your underoos. :rolleyes1

Or a green thong!

Just for the record, you were not slammed on THIS board; you were slammed on the Orlando/Attractions board. Maybe this post would be better taken up with them and not the campers who didn't slam you in the first place.

Agreed. We're not big into bashing here.

Now beer. THAT is something we're into. :thumbsup2

I don't think anyone would mind if you made a throw away ressie if you let one of us "borrow" your campsite to park our camper put up a a few chairs and fill up a cooler. :rolleyes1

Or park our car, use the grill and let our kid ride his bike around in circles all day.... :rolleyes1

But I have to make sure that she does not wear red because I am afraid of red. Red make the mosquito bugs come and they bite. Then I would have to spray repellent and I am afraid of repellent. .......

Yoda....you do not bash so my post is not directed at you:thumbsup2

Yikes! Just realized that I left the word "not" out of my post. I didn't think that it was directed toward me. Glad to know I was right. :goodvibes

I, too, am a rule follower - to a fault at times. What a world we could have if everyone was. :thumbsup2

Unless they're lime green, of course. :rolleyes1

I like this thread, good entertainment after a long day, and an upcoming very STRESSFUL day tomorrow!

Anyway, I don't know how I feel about this, bc I would rather do anything than be in the parks on July 4th! Yuck!!!! I learned my lesson going to Disney Land on New Years Eve one year.

I would much rather be at a resort or campground swimming, eating, and drinking beer or overpriced fruity drinks. :thumbsup2

I do think it stinks, but, they paid for the site.....ohh, I don't know, I'm way too analytical for this type of post.

I will say, I haven't ever felt uncomfortable on this board, ya'll are awesome! :grouphug:

I can't decide if I'm more tired of this worn out debate or the people from other boards who just come over here to stir things up.

To the OP'er.... If you wish to book a site so you can take advantage of EMH for up to 10 people for one day, book away!! The level of site you are most likely booking is a partial hook up site and doesn't affect me what so ever.

Bottom line is, Disney could care less if you actually use the site or not. They have your $$$ either way. Personally, I don't care if you use the site or not. It's your $$$ and if that's the way you choose to part with it, that's your business. For the most part, EMH is not worth it IMO because they only have the "good" rides open for business and percentage wise, you're competing with the same volume of people to ride them as you do during the day.

I'm a Disney Stockholder, and as such, let the people book & pay away. It increases profits. It's actually very profitable to encourage such action because water, electricity, and other facilities are not being used - yet they are being paid for.

Again to the OP, if you choose to book a site in the future for EMH benefit, I suggest you keep it to yourself. There isn't a person in all of Disboard-land or Ft.Wilderness-land that knows why a site is sitting empty.;) (Unless of course, you post a sign on the site announcing that "This Site is Occupied But You Can't See Us Because We Are Taking Advantage of EMH, Only." :rotfl2:

WRONG!

I wanted that site and I was deprived of that site because of this type of action and as a "stock holder" you should be ashamed of yourself for condoning such selfish acts.:rolleyes1

What difference does it make if it was a site that you wanted? Somebody that wanted to book a vacation may have wanted that site. This is only being abused at The Fort because you can have up to 10 people on site. When we first started visiting the fort you had to pay additional for over 2 adults. I don't know if anyone else remembers this.

You still pay extra for more than 2 adults. I have been charged the extra adult fee EVERY stay that I've added extra adults.

That's amazing. I haven't been charged for the extra adults for atleast the last couple of years that we have been visiting. They always ask and I always tell them the number of adults. However, they never ask about pets and they should. I make sure I tell them that also. I don't want to be put in a loop that "doesn't" allow pets if I have to make reservations for something other than a full hook up. I guess this is just another inconsistency of the reservation system.

I think the people who do this just like the idea of getting something over on Disney. I bet if Disney offered EMH to offsite visitors for a nominal fee, they'd be crying that Disney was ripping them off. Fortuneately, this is just a minority that do this. The vast majority are either too smart or value their time too much to make a special trip to check in to get their key to the magic cards in order to get a couple extra rides on Space Mountain.

Last time I stayed there I had extra adults and Disney gave me money back!

Disney's so stinking happy to have me actually stay at the site I reserve that the guy at the gate waves to me every time I come in, and they give me free refills of soda at the Trading Post in my mug!

Dont forget all the free rodes on the monoraisl, buses and boats!!

Steve, you contentious, beer drinking, otter bashing, thug!! Asian Jason has ruled that you CANNOT park your 5'er on a partial site. If you do, then you are a rule breaker! As a stock holder, I am not ashamed of condoning any actions that increase profits. Ultimately, those actions (moral or immoral) will be upheld by our gov't. Oh....wait.....that's already happened. I AM NOT ASHAMED!!

Allow me to make an observation...

The OP hasn't posted since the first page in this now-four-page thread.

Just sayin'....

Now YG, you aren't gonna start throwing around accusations that the OP came over to the camping boards simply to dredge up an old argument, try to prove some point that campers are just hypocritical rednecks cause we will book extra days and then cancel them but she can't book a "throwaway campsite", and stir up trouble only to then sit back and watch the show. Are you making that accusation??

Huh?

Cause if not, I will. :rotfl:
