What's up with the monorail

I'm just under 3 weeks out, and I think I've seen a couple of posts about the monorail not running it's full schedule, but I can't seem to find the details by Googling...can anyone enlighten me on this please?

DH and I have a "monorail bar hop" planned for the late afternoon/evening of 5.13 and had planned to use the monorail to hop between MK and EPCOT some other days as well...

I'm going in 2 weeks and have also heard there may be issues. Would love to know if there will be any issues with the Resort monorail...

I just called Disney and they told me that there may be anywhere from 10-20 minute delays on the monorail (all beams) starting now and throughout the summer due to refurbishment.

It's old and tired. Hopefully they will give it the care it deserves.

On the 14th when we were there the MK monorails were not running for most of the day. Made taking a dinnertime break from the parks and going over to the Poly for dinner a bit of a challenge, had to take a bus, made us 15 minutes late. By the time we finished dinner though they were running.
