What's up with Small World and Pirates?

In preparing for my upcoming trip I've been looking at wait times. Lines for Small World and Pirates has been as long as 7 Dwarfs when in the past if they were 20 minutes it was a busy day. Are they not filling up the boats?

As someone who also checks wait times just the gauge wait times, part of the issue right now is the social distancing of the queue lines. While they are relatively longer and more spread out, having to keep parties 6 ft apart causes some time extension. Also I am unsure about pirates, but IASW was starting to put plexiglass on, which some people have reported having issues with.

Pirates was literally the longest line we waited in our entire trip. I was able to call into Disney and get a park reservations issue resolved (which takes forever) in the amount of time it took us to get on the ride. We skipped small world completely due to the line.

Yeah bummed about these as they are must do rides for my family and usually multiple times. I guess we will just see how it goes.

Small World boats do not currently have any plexiglass (with exception of a few boats) so they are not filling them to capacity. I don't think Pirates boats have plexiglass either but I could be wrong about that. I'm sure someone who has been there recently can help out with the answer to Pirates.

No, I don't think pirates does. At least I don't remember any, but we only rode it once.

ETA: They did leave 2 rows between our party and the other party in the boat.

I was at MK today and arrived a bit later than we hoped. Park opening was 8am and we were walking down Main Street at 7:50ish. We were planning to rope drop 7DMT but it had a wait of 75 minutes. So we decided to head straight to Pirates. It was a walk-on at that time but it rose quickly and stayed at 50+ minutes all day. We were happy with our choice! And no, there is no plexiglass on the ride and they are only putting 2 groups per boat.
