What's up with Pirates and the Davy Jones projection?

For the past several months, the projection has gotten weaker and weaker. Yesterday I couldn't even see it. Anyone know what the problem is? Last week even the fog wasn't working.

When I was there 2 weeks ago, the fog worked, but I noticed Davy Jones wasn't showing up! I figured it was a fluke or something.

When we were there at the end of April, you could barely see Davey Jones at all, but I knew that there was an issue because I'd seen people talking about it here.

Going to DL for the first time in August but if it's anything like WDW they will have to close the ride for a month to fix it. Lol.

We were there last week and it was not working. Interestingly, I noticed that the rats that drop into your jeep while riding through Indiana Jones Temple of Doom were not working either making me wonder if these were connected??? Perhaps they ran out of the fog stuff? Maybe someone complained about the fog stuff causing cancer?

I was there four weeks ago and the fog was present, but the projection wasn't visible at all.

I wish I knew what was going on. I too noticed that the projection has gotten weaker and weaker over the past several months. Last Friday when I visited you couldn't even see it at all and the fog machine was barely running at all. I also noticed the shadow fight scene (near the pirate ship) wasn't what it used to be but it could have been because of the excess fog in that area.
