Has anyone else been able to get the site to come up? Everytime I try nothing comes up on the screen!! :headache:

I can get the home page to come up but for the last several days I haven't been able to get the reservations page to work - it keeps telling me to try again later. I've tried during the day at work on my breaks, I've tried at 4 a.m., 10 p.m, midnight - it doesn't matter what time of the day and I have tried a variety of computers. It's been very frustrating not being able to get a quote on the special savings packages that everyone seems to be saving money on. This company that uses computer technology to such an amazing degree in their parks and they can't seem to get a web site that works consistently - go figure. I hate to complain but many companies have wonderful web sites that work on a regular basis, you would think that WDW would be able to have one that would work on a semi-regular basis.

I haven't had any problems with it other than it being slow. I have better success on accessing the site with Firefox than i do with IE. From some of the posts i've read within the last several weeks, it appears Disney hates Mac's. LOL j/k It's just alot of Mac users have reported problems recently, or at least those are the problems/posts i've seen.

I have had trouble making a payment on ressie- so I just call them to make it instead- I am fearful that it will go through twice!!:scared1: :scared1:

Their website is HORRIBLE.

It's been like that for years, you would think whoever did it would have lost their job years ago.........other larger travel sites (Travelocity, Expedia etc have no issues like WDW) It truely is a MICKEY MOUSE operation, and it my opinion costs them alot of money and also ties up their phone lines.

This has always baffled me. Why does a company, which has excelled so well and for so long in media and art, have such a crappy and dysfunctional website? For Disney not to have an award-winning website is a real shame.

I like that they eventually got on board with some Flash, Shockwave, etc. but their capacity to handle any kind of traffic spike is non-existent, apparently, and their booking system is buggy as heck. To top it off, there should be a way to do ADR's online, with credit card holds, penalties, etc. to make ADR's more valuable and accurate.

Their FAQ section is almost completely uninformative.

News about ride closings, etc. often seems to get on here first instead of the WDW website.

It is almost like they want to make sites like the DIS, AllEarsNet thrive. If they had a better website, traffic to sites like this one would drop dramatically.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one. I can get it to come up but it's
so. freakin'. slow.

What's worse is that CRO depends on the same website and server setup, and they often experience the same website slowdowns guests do. So there's really not much relief by calling CRO to make ressies versus using the website.

I'm glad I'm not the only one having problems. I wanted to bring up our ressie to print it out showing it's all payed and I can't get it to work. It's frustrating.:headache:

Yes, I have problems with that site, too.

Some days it takes forever to come up.

Sometimes I get it up and then in the middle of pricing something for me it just freezes... :sad2:

I would expect a company like Disney to have a better functioning site. Whomever they are paying to take care of it is getting paid way too much :sad1:
