Whats up the first weekend in Dec?

Looking to go the first weekend in December for a long weekend to see all the xmas decorations, and its supposed to be a less crowded time of year... but seems to be very limited selection of rooms available. Something going on Dec 5 - that next week?

I feel like Pop Warner is usually around that time? It also could be the booking algorithm working against you.

That is Pop Warner arrival weekend.

Is this still going to be a 'low crowd' time like the calanders suggest or will it be busy with all the teams there? Anyone been there during this week?

What date range did you search? I see availability at almost all resorts for 12/5 - 12/11.

I just did a search for 12/5 - 12/10 and the only moderates avail are Coronado and Carribean. Both are over 300 a night. (only pirate rooms at CBR). Not a bit fan of Coronado.

That's weird. Just a few minutes ago, it was showing lots of availability, and now not much at all.

If you can tweak with the arrival/departure dates you might have more luck as well.
