What's this about Jiminy Cricket?

My DD15 was at DTD looking at pins when a lady approached her and said "jiminy cricket", my DD being the wit that she is said "huh" and the lady repeated herself.y daughter told the lady she didn't know what she meant and the lady said sorry and moved on. DD asked me if I knew what the lady was talking about. Thought iight have been some sort of scavenger hunt bit don't know. Figured if anyone would it would be the DISers out there, any ideas?

DD and i were walking in the mall a couple weeks ago and a girl walked up to her and said "are you the blue gnu"? and..........huh? and the girl repeated it. DD was dressed all in blue so we figured it was some sort of structured game or hunt also.

Maybe, the lady was asking if she was looking for a Jiminy Cricket pin? Maybe, it was a code name for something? It does seem very odd. Was this outside where the pin traders are or inside a store?

I was shopping at Target one time when a teenage boy came up behind me and started dancing crazy. I thought he was having a seizure standing up. Then, he turned around and walked away like nothing had happened. It was the most bizarre thing I had ever seen. I assume his friend dared him or something.

It is possible that there is a friend taping reactions and it will end up on YouTube. There were some teens trying to follow my family around Publix one day until we went up and down the same aisle three times (if they want to play than so do we ) and they knew that they were busted. You can go to YouTube and see videos of teens acting like there is a string held in between two of them in a grocery aisle, random dancing, etc.
