I know this has been asked before but with my Vegas trip lurking around the corner I'm so afraid I'll forget something important.

When hearing what you might have forgotten......might just help me remember!!;)

Knock on wood, I haven't forgotten anything too important on other trips.:)

On our trip down to WDW during the summer in '93 I forgot my swimmingsuit

I always make a list and check it about 50 times to make sure I don't forget anything! :p

I always take Pepto-Bismol (tablets or liquid) when we go on vacation. In December, DH and I went away for one night to the Gulf coast to attend a concert. I was going to pack it, but decided that the chances of one of us needing it for an overnight trip were slim. Well, you don't want to know...

When we returned to the hotel from the concert, I started to feel ill. It was close to midnight and nothing was open. We called the front desk and asked if they had any for sale or whatever, but the store's shop was closed. I was dehydrated by morning, so I could barely move. DH got up at 6 am to find something for my upset stomach and some Gatorade. Never again! In fact, since then that's the first thing I pack.

So don't forget to pack Pepto or Kaopectate!;) ;)

Let's see, I once forgot all my jewelry. Nothing major I just felt funny the whole time with no watch, rings, earrings, or my favorite necklace. I don't wear any jewelry at home because my body reacts to it. So as soon as I come home I take off my watch, earrings, and wedding rings. I really felt awful without my wedding ring!!:( DH once forgot his shaver and had to use my razor! :p Hope you have a wonderful vacation! I'll miss you!

Tennis shoes. We packed for our honeymoon and I thought DH had put them in the luggage. He didn't! I realized this the morning of our Hawaiian cruise! Thank goodness the stores in Vancouver opened early enough for us to hoof it from the hotel (me in Bermuda shorts, Camp shirt and dress shoes!) By the time we made it to the mall I had huge blisters on my heels and just bought the first pair I found in my size. I think I spent $150 CDN which was roughly $90 US! Most expensive pair of tennis shoes I've ever bought. Needless to say, I haven't forgotten them since!

Not for vacation, but I packed for SO's business trip for him, as I always did. He was wearing brown shoes that morning, but for some reason I just thought he had on black shoes, so I did not pack any black shoes for him. The next morning when he had to run to the mall in a black suit with brown dress shoes before his meeting so that he could buy black shoes to wear. Bought the first pair he came across as he had no time to shop around. He never let me live down that very expensive pair of shoes he was forced to buy.

On our last 3dayland/4day cruise. Forgot to pack my dress shoes! I ended up wearing my white sneakers with a long white Sundress!LOL Luckily did not need them until after Nassau where I got a great deal on a nice fancy sandal! Not that I would not have bought them anyways!

That's the first thing I will pack for our next cruise!

We used to own a condo in Myrtle Beach, one year while driving down I realized we didn't have the key!! When I told DH he yelled and said "we're going back home to get them" BTW, we were in North Carolina:eek:  Of course we continued on and got an extra key from the place that handled our rentals.

Our first trip to Vegas...a 5 day trip. I had everything of mine layed out on the bed, DW told me to get out as she wanted to pack everything. Arrive in Vegas, unpack and she forgot to pack my 5 pairs of underwear:eek: I asked her why and she said she thought it was my clean laundry I had not put away yet:mad: Ended up having to go to the Forum Shops at Caesers Palace to but underwear:rolleyes: $14 a pair for regular underwear:rolleyes: I pack my own suitcase now :)

The keys to the suitcase lock.......

On our honeymoon cruise. We had to have the steward come and cut the lock off. The keys were sitting on my dresser when I came home.........argh.......

I usually forget silly things like hair mousse, toothbrushes....easy things to replace. DH, on the other hand, forgets things ALL the time. On trips he's forgotten a dress shirt (trip to Saks), shoes (trip to Lord & Taylor)...bathing suit (well, at least this he could buy in the hotel shop)....the WORST was when he forgot to pack underwear in the large suitcase. We were going on a cruise from New Orleans and were staying in NO for the weekend before, so packed a smaller suitcase for that part of the trip and left the large suitcase untouched....you GOT it.....the man had two pairs of underwear for the entire trip.

He is a small man (28 inch waist) so the ship didn't have any his size...every port, there we were looking for baby underwear....Jamaica...Grand Cayman...Cozumel. Up seedy streets...down seedy streets! I wanted to buy him little boys boxers...but NO....nothing but the Calvins would do! In the meantime, back at the farm, I mean stateroom, there was his spare pair hanging in the shower like we were hillbillies or something!

I'd pack for the man but honestly I think he does this kind of thing just so he doesn't have to pack!!!

Oh my gosh! We went on a Disney cruise in January. It was on short notice (less than 4 weeks) and every day I was so happy because I could wear my fancy, velvet Mickey dress that I had gotten a couple years ago, that I only wore once. Remembered the matching shoes, jewelry (which I never wear), makeup (which I never wear) but I FORGOT THE DRESS!!!!!

I was miserable, so I ended up wearing my other dress which was supposed to be for Animator's Palette to Triton's and bought a denim Animal Kingdom Lodge shirt to wear at Animator's Palette.

I'm a planner and a list writer, so I've never forgotten anything. I hope I just didn't jinx myself. A friend of mine went to WDW with her DH and 2 DD's and forgot their hopper passes.

I have a camera somewhere that I lost on vacation. I think it's in the Smokey Mountains somewhere.
