So does anyone know how well Disney fared with the FTP promotion this summer? Is it likely to be duplicated in 2004? Can someone refresh me precisely on what the "deal" actually is-- 7 nights for 4---what did that include and did that assume hotels at "rack" rates?

Thanks.

FTP had to be a huge success..
Crowded parks even through last week when I was there.

7 nights for the price of a 4 night.
Framed character print (Donald stomping on musical notes plus a Mickeys Philharmic pin)
8 day Unlimited Park Hopper Ticket.

I got mine for 1100 through AA Vacations. I stayed at All Star Sports Resort. I posted a trip report and resort report on it.

I would guess that would do it again, but I doubt it would be as great as a deal that was done earlier this year.
I have read about some Winter Package which is close to the same but the price isnt nearly as close.

Sorry, forgot to put in there that you could chose any hotel to stay at, but the value prices we only for value resorts, Moderates at Moderate, etc....

I don't know that it was that much of a success. The parks were not crowded on Monday and Tuesday last week. When we checked out of POR on Tuesday 8/26, the bellhop told us that the resort was only at 40% and over 100 people checked in that morning and got their room right away. He said all of the resorts were running at about 40%.

Epcot was deserted on Tuesday. MK was quiet on Monday morning, and MGM was pretty quiet monday night. Over the weekend before it was crowded, but I didn't think it was that crowded during the week before Tues-Fri 8/19-22.
