We just recently sailed on the Wonder (July 25 - Aug 01) and she is in good shape. Even though she is going in for a refit, they were constantly painting, cleaning, pressure spraying, shampooing the carpets, etc. When in port they were even using a man-lift to wash windows. As a mechanic by trade, I can tell you from a professional stand point, Disney goes the extra mile to keep their ships up to snuff. Granted, it isn't perfect but, that doesn't slow them down. At all hours of the day and night rain or shine clean, paint and clean some more. If you got out your magnifying glass you could find some rust here and there. That should be expected from a salt water environment. There were no offensive odors or stains on the carpets and most everything was in good working order. Yeah, you could say that there were some minor wear areas on the teak wood hand rails on the Promenade deck outside and when there was an accident in Mickey's pool, the crew acted immediately to arrest the problem and get it back into working sanitary condition, even if it meant completely draining the pool. The Plexiglas walls are a bit cloudy but that should come as no surprise. Overall, I give them an A grading. She is not in absolute, like new pristine shape but for her age she is in fine shape. I have a warm spot in my heart for her as she is like a grand old lady from the hay day of turn off the century ocean liners.
