We leave in a few days, and the weather looks absolutely perfect!! From the hot and humid midwest though, I'm confused about the posters who are talking about the heat (low 80's right??). Also, is it cool enough at night for me to pack more than shorts and t-shirts for my DSs (7 & 9)? I'll probably take some capris for me and could wear those in the evening...

Realize my boys like to wear shorts as much as possible - we have a fifty degree rule at our house.

It's been hot and very sunny. Definatly lots of shorts and I wouldn't bother with pants or sweatshirts, especially if you're used to cooler weather.

I take this to mean that your boys are required to wear pants, instead of shorts, if it's below 50 degrees?! My DD is the same way! We're going down next week and I will pack a pair of pants and a light jacket for evening for all of us. I doubt it will be below 50, but I'm sure it will be cooler than you are used to.Although I would anticipate it being warmer than low 80's during the day, it's going to very comfortable compared to what you are used to!
To be honest, I often will "forget" to pack jackets or sweatshirts, so we are "forced" to buy them in the park!! I don't think my DH has caught on yet!!!
Have a great trip!!

We just returned from Disneyland to the hot and sticky midwest. Personally, I found the weather in CA to be MUCH more comfortable - I wore a sweatshirt (w/ shorts) in the morning until 10 or so, and then again after dinner, as did my kids. My DH was comfortable in shorts and T's though. The sun was intense in the afternoon, but the actual air temperature wasn't that hot, if that makes any sense? No humidity (at least compared to what we have here), so in the shade it was extremely comfortable, even when the sun was at its hottest.

What is the humidity though. It can be in the mid 80's but if its 90% humidity its just miserable. I would rather deal with the dry 100 degree heat in utah than 85 degree & 90% humidity.

It's been humid the last few days and supposed to be for the next week I believe. What we consider humid though is probably a nice day to someone from Florida or Texas though :) I don't know the % really because us Californias don't have to worry ourselves with such things :) But even today mid July when it got stormy and 'humid' it was still MUCH more comfortable then any of the days we spent in Florida in early Dec.

I was watching the afternoon news today and the humidity was around 50%. In California, was consider that high.

I don't know what the % humidity was last week in Anaheim, but we thought it was very dry, which was why it was so comfortable. The heat wave there didn't feel like a heat wave to us. Of course, we're from the midwest, where the humidity AND heat have been awful - 87% yesterday with a temp of 89.

I'm from central IL and right now the temps with humidity are terrible. Sunday is suppose to 104 degrees. With the heat index they are predicting it to be over 110. We have been ranging from 92 to over 100 for the last couple of weeks. And the humidity is usually over 75%. Yikes! I can't wait to go to DL next month. 90 degrees sounds cool to me right now.

This is all sounding great to me!!! I adore WDW but just can't take the humidity. Even in the UK when we get it hot (which isn't often) it's unbearably sticky and sweaty. We chose California for this year to escape the humidity - perfect!!

Thunderstorms Saturday, high humidity and high tempatures, it's about 90, fells like over 100.

Still sounds good. I just checked weather.com and Anaheim is showing 92 degrees for the day's high and the heat index at only 93 degrees with 37% humidity. Right now in Peoria, IL it is 98 degrees with a heat index of 109 degrees with 62% humidity. I love hot weather, but this is a bit ridiculous. We have had less than 1" of rain since June 1st and the temps just keep soaring.

Whatever the weather, I am going to have fun when we go next month! Only 24 more days!!! :sunny:

I live in Anaheim, and our thermometers all read over 100 at 7pm tonight. It's now after 11, and 82.6 outside. It very rarely gets below 50 degrees at night in the winter, usually if it cools down it's in the 60s which is cold to us. It's also about 40% humdity at the moment. Earlier when it read 104.7 we had 25% humidity. Last week, we had cool mornings and 30-40 degree temp changes beweent the coast and the inland valleys. This week we're just hot. It's not getting much below 75 all night
