What's the weather like in Late Dec. and Early Jan.?

Me,DH and DD will be coming dec 30 - jan 5. we will be camping in our pop-up. Just wanted to know what to expect in the weather department and what to expect with the crowds as well. This is our first time camping at FW. So any help and insite will be greatly appreciated. Also who do i call about requesting the 1500 loop, i forgot to put it on when i booked our reservation online.

you will have will have cool days and coldish nights...can get very cold with occ. temps down in the 30's at night....be sure you pack layers for shedding and adding as the day progresses...and yes a heater will be needed that time of year down there for nights...call the ressies line and give them your conf. number and they can add your request...that doesn't mean you will get it ...also meake sure you each have a poncho as it tends to rain in the winter down there and being cooler weather you sure don't want to get a good drenching...it's a great time to go but the first 2 days will be very crowded!!!...have a magical vacation!
