What's the weather like in December?

We're getting married in December at WDW and would like to know how to pack. We have two daughters and don't want them to be cold, you know.

We go December 10-17 each year, it can be 85 or 45, or both on the same day. The first day was hot, hot and muggy, it rained the next and had frost warnings by the end of the week. We are from MI and froze during MVMCP, we had on our winter coats, sweatshirts and gloves. It was fun but we were cold! So we pack the whole gammet when we go!

Yep, we've experienced 80's and gorgeous and 40's and very windy, sometimes in the same trip, so you will want to pack layers and don't plan to go to the parks in the evening in shorts and t-shirts - you'll probably be spending $$$ on sweatshirts for everyone!

I've read on here that it fluctuates, but the last 2 years we've gone in early December and the weather was just gorgeous. Upper 60s/lower 70s during the day and maybe 50s at night. Good luck to you!

We live in the same climate and the possible fluctuations in December are crazy. We have found it best to dress in/pack layers...so you can throw a sweater or sweatshirt over a tshirt and a coat over that if needed and even a rain slicker over that, then remove layers if it warms up.

We are going in Dec. 2008. I pulled up the weather underground site, which we have used in the past and I thought that temp. ranges for early december (1-10) reflected what I had been told --- they are all over the place!

We went last December and it could be low 70's or 40's. We were shorts every day but we made sure to bring jackets, gloves and hats especially for the night time shows and MVMCP.

We're headed down this December too!
