What's the strangest thing you've ever seen? (could be in Disney World, on your way to work, etc.)
Let me preface this by saying that I've worked in Manhattan for a
little over 8 years now, and between working here and traveling here to see concerts lo these many years, I thought maybe I'd seen enough to say that nothing would surprise me anymore.
Well! Then came this morning...
Now, I swear, I don't do drugs, and I'm not a drinker - this is
absolutely true! I was heading towards the street to catch another bus to work, when I saw a man on the main floor of Port Authority - dressed in a wet suit, flippers, mask and snorkle. He was just a'flip-floppin' along, and I thought I was seeing things. I held it together until he passed me, and then I just burst out laughing. I saw a cop notice him, too, since he stepped out from behind a pole to continue watching this guy. The thing that made me laugh even HARDER is the fact that - we were the only two people who seemed to stop and notice this guy!! New York City - gotta love it!!
I was just sure this was a put-on, maybe by Letterman or Howard Stern or someone. I didn't see a camera or anything, though...
Anyone else?
