Let's see who tops my loveable baby (6yr old) Blue. She's half Lab and half Collie. Blue as gentle and loving as they get but WHAT AN APPETITE. She will eat anything. Let's see there's been cans, garden hoses, spark plugs, slippers, various wires and a Christmas Tree complete with ornaments and lights ! She doesn't even get sick. She must have a cast iron stomach. The Vet says she's 100 % healthy. That's good news since we almost lost her to Parva as a pup. Anyway I bet Blue can out eat any dog.

So now what has your dog eaten?

As soon as I figure out how to post a picture you can all see her.

Wow, you're dog is incredible..... and to still be ALIVE! The first Toy Poodle I had loved vaseline. Now that's a REAL MESS to clean off a Poodle! ::yes::

The only strange thing our American Eskimo Tony likes is fresh garden tomatoes. We have to keep a chicken wire fence around the plants or they will all be eaten before we get a chance to pick them. Tony loves them.

When he (a Lab :cloud9: ) was a puppy he ate a wash cloth I never knew about until he got sick. When he was a puppy he also ate my little resin Rafiki I got at WDW  and I didn't know about that until 2 days later when I was wondering what all those colors were in the backyard! Ewww! :crazy2:

My 15 Mo Choc Lab ate my husbands christmas present. He was given a really cool digital camera binoculars. We were trying thrm out on the view of the field in back of our house, then lefy them on the counter and went to a movie. We came back to half the binoculars and no lens caps! He never got sick or had any trouble with digestion. He will eat anything!

This is totally disgusting, but we used to have a Saint Bernard who loved pork sausage links. She wouldn't even chew them up, she'd just swallow them whole. I suppose that's not so strange really, except pork sausage didn't agree with her so every time she indulged in pork sausage, she was able to enjoy it twice...I'll leave it to your imagination to fill in the details....:crazy2:

I can top that on the gross meter!!! My dog (God rest his soul) used to eat poop-sicles. You got it...his own frozen poop from the yard in the winter. :o

No doggies kisses for him!!!

He was a good dog, though. A lab/collie/spaniel mix who lived to be 13. We had to put him down last October and we miss him so.

My Pantyhose. And Dh's Uncle reached up in him and yanked them out the other end:p

When my 12 year old Standard Poodle Sebastian was a puppy he half swallowed my panty hose only I pulled it out his mouth and throat. He also used to swallow my husband's nylon socks whole which came out the other end. How he managed not to get an intestinal obstruction from swallowing the socks was a miracle.

and the stick it was on......in one GULP.......the vet said to watch for it.....and we did and then ......yup one day it showed up.....poop on a stick is what we called it.....

My dog eats everything, even poop :crazy2:. We have a rabbit, and sometimes when they're outside together, my dog will eat the rabbits turds.

A rabbit bone. My parents paid for the surgery to remove it. I hated that stupid dog. It was a Rat Terrier.

my dog floppy a mix breed ate a enire box of dunkin doughnuts and reconized their box and jessie a basset beagle hound eat glubs

Sorry, just have to post again.

My sisters Golden Retriever "Peggers" used to eat bees flying in the air. He would get stung in the nose and then cry.

My dog ate a roofing nail. How it didn't kill him, I'll never know, but he ate it and barfed it back up a few hours later.

He has also eaten roofing singles (we got a new roof a few months before we got him), rocks, many plastic items (Legos, dice, Power Ranger arms, etc.), candy and gum in wrappers (chocolate doesn't seem to phase him), and shoe liners.

He's never eaten poop, though. I guess I should be glad?

Monty Dog eats bugs sometimes. When he was really young, he ate rocks once in a while, but has not done that since he was 4 months old.

   And I thought our dog Snoopy, a beagle/terrier mix, was bad!

Besides "poopscicles" - but only in winter - I think the oddest thing he ever ate was my mother's birth control pills. He was looking for mints, which he loved!

I've also read that dogs aren't supposed to eat chocolate as it's very bad for them. Every year my Dad got a box of choc covered cherries for his b'day from his mother. He opened them one year & we went to church (it's C'mas Eve) - yup...he ate the entire box! Little papers & all!

I miss that dog. :teeth:

We were visiting my parents once, and my mom had just made chocolate chip cookies. She had them cooling on the side of her counter and Monty Dog, who can jump 4 feet straight in the air, jumped at them, knocked them over and ate at least a few before we were able to get to him.

He survived. But normally he does not get chocolate. He does get biscuits dipped in carob. :)

My dog has started eating bees. Luckily she hasn't been stung yet. I think she does it just so I will let her out in the yard without a leash. Some how she knows I'm allergic and afraid of them so she does that to make me let her run around.
