What's the strangest thing your child has asked for..

Last year my DDthen3 asked for "jumpy teeth" aka the teeth you wind up and they chatter. Haha!!!! Needless to say, she got them!

This year, after watching Santa Paws, she exclaimed, "I do NOT want an incinerator for Christmas!" Hehehe!!! :)

Not my kids, but friends'. One friend's son went to see Santa at the mall. When Santa asked him what he wanted he said, "underpants." Santa said that is was the 1st time anyone had ever actually asked for underwear, and that he was sure that he would be getting some for Xmas.

Another friend's daughter wanted new tights for Xmas. I have to think of a way to get this around Dis censors..... she misspelled "tights." She omitted the "gh." When she wrote "new tights" minus the "gh" her father accused her mother of writing the list.

:rotfl2: I don't think Santa delivers those! They have to be custom ordered. :rotfl:

My brother put on his list last year a model. Alot of good jokes came out of that lol. He meant a car model tho ;)

Those reviews are hilarious! I'm going to forward them to my teenage sons. I have a feeling one of them will be asking for this now.

Back to the question. Last year DS14 asked for a cloak and a japanese puzzle box. Guess he was plotting some secret spy thing.

As suspected, DS14 read the horse head mask reviews last night and it now moved to the top of his list above the Ipad Mini:lmao::rotfl2: He was reading for about an hour laughing hysterically.

In second grade, DS#2 asked for (and received) Excel. Yes, the spreadsheet program.

DS asked for duct tape this year. Last year it was ketchup. My favorite though was when he was five. He wanted a hamster with four legs.

This year, DS12 has asked for business cards and a goat....:thumbsup2

Since he is mostly non-verbal, we have no idea what his plans are....

This reminds me of the Christmas when my 2-year-old nephew asked for:
"Power tools. With danger."

He meant real tools, not cheesy preschool plastic ones!

Aww, now he's all grown up and still gets teased about wanting his gifts with danger.

My 7 year asked for six pack abs last night.

:lmao: These all are hilarious!!!

Mine isn't as funny but my DD asked for a vacuum one year. She was 3. She said she wanted to help me clean. And yes, she received a child's vacuum. :thumbsup2

LOL...at least at 15 you likely won't have the same problem I did when DS (then 4) got his. Doorbell rang, DS ran and threw it open and I heard him scream "I got a big Woody!!". (Oh ya, it was one of the pastors from our church standing there) :rolleyes1

But, I digress...weirdest thing DS asked Santa for (and really, really wanted) was a pink lawn flamingo. Ever try finding one of those in the middle of a Canadian winter?

Oh my gosh I am sitting here laughing so hard! :rotfl: Between the woody and the "calc" I have tears streaming down my face. This is such a funny thread. :rotfl:

I have to put my thinking cap on and see if I can remember anything funny my kids asked for. Nothing as creative as some on here. So funny kids asking for things like acorns or Oxyclean! :rotfl2:

DS asked for a stuffed opossum one year. He couldn't have asked for a teddy bear or a stuffed dog or some other animal that's easily available at Target or Toys R Us. Nope. It had to be an opossum.

Thank goodness for the internet! Santa was able to bring the opossum.

So, of course, the next year, DS asked for a stuffed aardvark and younger DS asked for a stuffed anteater! :faint:

When my daughter was 2, the only thing she wanted was an apple. It's a tradition now that every year she gets an apple at the bottom of her stocking.

This year, she asked for a giant pink gem, and the real Silvermist. I got her a pink gem-shaped paperweight, and a Silvermist doll.

When my niece was turning 4, all she wanted for her birthday was a watermelon. No matter who asked her, that was always her response. I got her one of those little ones and wrapped it all up in fancy paper. She was so happy when she opened it.

She just said to my mom the other day, "remember when I asked for watermelons? That was funny! ". Her birthday is tomorrow so I think she wanted to make sure that nobody got her a watermelon again.

I asked for (and got) white fudge covered Oreos one year

One year for my birthday, I asked for (and also got) stir fry ingredients, specifically those little miniature ears of corn :lmao:

i have 4 sons.

when the youngest was 4 y/o, he would tell us from the time he got up until the time he went to bed that he wanted the number 8 from santa.

#8 ??????

besides his real presents, we wrapped up 8 different number 8's for him.

quite a few were house numbers in different styles/sizes bought at the hardware store, a few others were from Sesame St books, a few stencils of 8, made a few number 8's by wrapping yarn around 2 connecting circles off the gallon milk lid........

When I was in kindergarten I asked for the Nintendo game Paperboy, except I made a mistake and on my list I wrote 'Playboy'. I am sure my parents loved that one.

Lol! I had that game and loved it. Was addicted to it. I would like to point out it was Paperboy and not playboy ... :-)

A marshmallow bouncy bean. Whatever that is. She's three. :rotfl:

Maybe little by little their trying to create their own little stuffed animal zoo.

My 11 year old son told us last night that he wanted toast. TOAST???? But, this is also from the kid that asked for mustaches and a platypus for his birthday....

My youngest at the time was 7. He REALLY want a tux. I didn't understand so I asked him why and he said "to look fancy for funerals and cruises"! Funerals and cruises-the only places a kid needs to look fancy. We all howled!:rotfl:

From age 2 through 6 my son asked for bacon from Santa. The last two years he's asked for fake blood. Thank goodness we had a local costume shop, as the first year he asked it was a few days before Christmas.
