What's the population of the town you live in? Mine is just under 8000! I grew up in a town of 52000.

Are you in my town??? We are probably just under 8000 too. Although there are hundreds of small towns around me.

I grew up in a "big city"....I think we had 40-50,000!!! Doesnt really seem like a city next to Brooklyn!

Poohbear, my sister lives near you in Hubbardston. When she first moved there 18 years ago, I think the pop. was a little over 500. I was a rural mail carrier, and I could not believe she had only ONE mail carrier in the whole town! LOL Of course as with every town, they had a building surge, and the pop. has grown immensely.

I just moved to the town I grew up in. It has 9900. It has grown about 5x's since I was a kid.

Still much smaller than Plymouth, where I just moved from, Plymouth has over 50,000!

I'm in a community outside of Fort Lauderdale and we have just over 61,000 but it still manages to have a "small town feel".

we have just over 7000 inside the official "city limitys, but the population area around town grows to about 25000 with in 5 miles of town

Ours is 80,000 but with a quaint downtown that has a small town feel to it too!

Ours had a population of 50,000 fifteen years ago!

I come from a town of 8 million.

I live in a city. Same city in fact for my entire life. Population around 42K

my town is around 60,000. I like living in a town that size. I grew up in a town of about 35,000 and spent my teen years in a town of about 2,000 ( much too small)

I gre up in Phoenix; when my family moved there (I was 1 year old) the population was less than 50,000. By the time I graduated high school it was about 650,000 in the city limits and 1.5 million in the metro area.

Now live in Minneapolis, 372,600 estimate in the city limits, 2,992,800 in the metro...I don't know them all...

in the last 10 years my town has grown from just under 10,000 to almost double.

as a kid, lived in a small town and then worked in a small town. as i look back, don't know why i was so eager to move out to the big city up north.......wish i could go back home...............

We border a city though that has 100,000 people in it, and I go to school there. The school alone has 2600 kids in it. Nothing like a little culture shock when I got there.
