Can I ask what your bad experience was?
Yes, this was 3 years ago so maybe they have new management now.
We couldn't check in early so we left our luggage in the car and went to the park.
We came back at 11pm got our luggage and headed to the room.
Pulled back the sheets to get in bed and saw hair! Yuck! I checked the bedbugger.com website before we left and it mentioned that hotels who don't change sheets between visitors are more likely to have bedbugs. So I pulled the mattress back and checked the mattress/ box spring. Found a couple of dead bugs on the box spring and put them on a Kleenex. Called the front desk and asked for another room.
I've never seen a bed bug in person so didn't know exactly what they were.
Sold out, couldn't switch rooms, called every hotel on Harbor and sold out too. : (
Brought the bugs to the front desk and the manager said those ate just roaches. And denied their hotel had roaches.
Yeah that's better : /
After all that drama , stripping the beds, restless/ sleepless nights no discount, no apology nothing.
When we checked out we are lunch by the pool and saw the manager walking the exterminator up to the room. I said " I thought you didn't have bugs in your hotel" he scowled at us.
I have stayed at almost every hotel within that block on Harbor and that was by far the worst.
