What's the most you've spent on a purse?

$395 for a Dooney & Bourke but then of course I had to spend $200 for the matching wallet! At my last job we got our bonuses every March and I would buy one or two nice pocketbooks then.

I have a few Coach bags. I think the most I've spent is $150. I've gotten them on sale or at the outlet. I have a $400 one my mom gave me for my 30th birthday.

The most I've spent (so far) is $787.50 after Virginia sales tax on this Louis Vuitton back in early December. It was a splurge and it felt good, still does! I have no regrets!

See, thats the thing though. My first designer bag was a Kate Spade that I bought myself with my babysitting money when I was 14 (I think I was 14, anyway).

I'm now 20, and I still have that bag. I carried it in high school pretty much every day, and it doesn't have so much as a frayed corner.

I am not a purse or a shoe person, so the most I ever spend on bags is whatever a Vera Bradley cost. Maybe around $75? Mine last a long time and the ones I got last year at the sale in Fort Wayne still look brand new.

I usually buy great name brand purses at Burlington Coat factory for nothing, just becuase I love switching up my purses all the time - due to occasion, season, event, what I am wearing etc. Its the only way I can afford to have a lot of purses. DH however has bought me a nice classic style Dooney & Burke, which I really to love. I believe it was 150-200. I am waiting for the day I can afford a Kate Spade! Then I will be in purse heaven

I had just hit a milestone at work and had about 100 woth of Coach gc and store credits so I bought a purse for 320 bucks. It is so awesome and I get compliments on it all the time. That, of course was back when I was working full time, had just gotten pregnant and had no car payment yet. No more 320 bags for me!

Edited- my sister and some friends buy theirs at those knockoff pocketbook parties- she has 2 LVs and a Burberry that are very hard to tell that they are fake.

I LOVE Coach bags!! I do try to restrain myself - I haven't spent more than $225 for a purse (yet) - just can't bring myself to do it. I also won't buy full-price - I always shop the Coach outlet and get them on clearance. Though there is a patchwork one out right now that I love, love, love! So I'm VERY tempted to pay the full-price for it just because I don't want to wait another year for it to end up at the outlets...

My most pricey is probably a coach I have...it was $230ish...but I had a $100 giftcard that I put toward it.

I have my eye on another coach bag coming out in February...I PRAY that Nordstrom gets it...cause I have a gift card to Nordie's that I'd like to put toward the bag!

As big a coach fan as I am...I have to agree with the OP...the Coach print with fish on them? FUGLY! (JMO!)
