For me, it would have to be the $76.00 I won at a local casino. I was playing slot machine that took quarters.

I won $500 on a slot machine once....about 24 years ago! **sigh**

It enabled me to eat and pay my rent that month.

DH and I each hit separately in Las Vegas. Combined our winnings were enough to pay for our hotel, flights, and all our food for the long weekend we were there for a friends' wedding.

What's the most I've won?

In one sitting $8000. or thereabouts. :p

In a whole year, much much more. :sunny:

.

I got to about $135..before stopping at $100 as I headed on a reverse streak. This was on a cruise playing roulette.

At slots - $250
Video Poker - $150
Blackjack - I was up around $700, but then I blew it all away!

I won $1000 in a "reverse raffle" at a school fundraiser.

A reverse raffle is when they pick out all the tickets one by one and the last ticket left is the winner. That's the only way I can win those things - when you have to be very last to be picked!

I once won $1200 on a video poker machine in Atlantic City, but had to split it with 4 other people. I used to go to A.C. with a group of friends and to prolong our fun and attempt to better our odds, we would each chip in $50 and we would take turns playing the same machine. It hit on a royal flush.

About $80.00 in a friendly poker game. I've neve rbeen to Las Vegas and only to Atlantic City once. I think I lost about $200.00 on that trip to Atlantic City.

ummm I won about $75 when I was 19 in Windsor...I was only 17 when I went to Vegas last...and when we went to Atlantic City when I was about 22... I didn't even play... I want to go to Vegas though...My mom just got back from Vegas Tuesday and they won a few grand... I would just rather go to WDW or Disney Cruise than gambling:)

I won 1,000 once in Atlantic City it was New Years and I was down to my last quarter. :cool1:

A few years ago I won 250.00 in Vegas and 500.00 at Foxwoods. Not bad since I have only been to like 3 casino's in my life.

I won $50 in nickels in Vegas about 15 years ago. Sadly that is the most I've ever won.

I never really end up ahead.

A few years ago me and DH went to the nearby Indian casino. My DH dropped his quarters in the first slot machine, and won $100. He was ready to go home.

I begged to stay longer, so he went to the next slot machine, dropped in his quarters, and won $150.

We went home. We were there for about a half hour.

$800 in Atlantic City. I remember it was a quarter slots machine, and I hit 3200 quarters!! I was convinced it was only $80 until I got the payout ticket.

I've also won $400 on two separate trips -- once in Vegas and once in Atlantic City.

I won pretty big twice... $5,600 and $3,200... both on the $5 slots, both in Atlantic City although 2 different casinos

My luckiest and favorite and biggest casino win was at Foxwoods in CT - I had just gotten engaged - I was studying for the bar exam and I was hounding my soon to be husband to buy a bulldog (which we just had to have for our new apartment!) Bulldogs at that time were going for $1700.

I took a break from studying - drove to Foxwoods by myself - played Let it Ride. Table went cold - everyone left except me and one other person. I had enough for one more bet...I put out my $5 on each Let it Ride Spot...

for those who don't know this game - it is a poker game. You put up the table minimum on three spots and you get dealt 3 cards -- if you have a pair of 10's or better you are an automatic winner -- if you like your cards you can keep all 3 bets up. If you don't like your cards you can take back one of the bets. Dealer flips a card and that counts towards your hand. If th[at card helps your hand (for example if you had an ace in your hand and dealer flipped an ace you would now have a pair of aces which is a winning hand) you can leave your remaining 2 bets up but if you don't like that card you can remove your second bet leaving just one $5 bet. Then dealer flips another card - for 5 cards total - and if you have a poker hand you get paid and if you don't casino takes your last $5 chip. The bets pay on a sliding scale - so a pair is 1 to 1 --- 2 pair is 2 to 1 -- 3 of a kind is 3 to 1...etc]

So I get dealt 3 beautiful queens -- a definate winner of $45 bucks (so I am happy) and I leave all my bets up -- the dealer flips his next card which is the 4th queen -- 4 of a kind -- 50 to 1 -- I get a cool $750 plus a bonus of $150 for $900!!! The most I ever won.

I scoop up my winnings - call my fiance and tell him I am coming home that weekend and we are going bulldog shopping. We bought our little guy Porkchop using the winnings as a down payment - best money I have ever spent!! That is my best and favorite and biggest win!!!

I leave for Las Vegas next Wednesday...I am hoping for another big win because it is time Porkchop got a sibling...
