What's the MOST popular check in/out day?

I've read so many threads about room requests. Personally, I've never done that and I've never been disappointed either.
But I was curious what the most popular check in day is. I usually check in on SATURDAY and I've either checked out on SAt or SUN. So if someone wanted MY ROOM on Sat but I wasn't vacating until Sun then the request is mute.
My past trip a month ago it seemed like everyone on our floor left on Sun. There were checkout papers hung on almost every single door Sun morning.
Could it be we were all assigned that floor/wing because we were all leaving on the same day

Anyone with an inside scoop of the most popular in/out days?

It would seem that most of the threads I have read about this topic overwhelmingly felt that Sunday was the top checkout day.

It's doubtful that you were all assigned the floor because of your checkout day.

I typically check in on Sunday and checkout on Saturday. I'm not a big fan of weekend touring. One time, my family checked in on Monday and checked out on Sunday because that was the only flights we could get last minute.

For DVC resorts, Sunday is BY FAR the biggest check-in day, with Friday as the biggest check-out. For other resorts, Fri/Sat are big check-in and check-out days, with most people staying 7-8 nights.

We usually arrive on a Thursday and checkout on a Monday, but I have noticed the weekends seem to be big days for check-in and out, probably based on having to miss less work/school if you use weekend days as your travel days.

It has varied for us across the board. On our last trip we checked in on a Wednesday and checked out the following Wednesday. Not very busy at all. Next trip we will check in on Sat and check out Friday - we're going for Spring Break.

I can probably speak for most every DVC member that SUnday would be the prime day of the week to check in and or out.
Every year we come down on Sunday, and every year Magical express is a
mad house when we wait for a bus. Sister goes on a Saturday or Friday and says she never really have lines.
Resort check in after the ME is another mad house.
So ya, Sundays. Especially at 10:30am at the airport
and the front desk at 11:30am.

I noticed a huge change when I switched from Sunday to Saturday as far as checking in.

We drive down so we check in on Sunday afternoon and leave early on Saturday.

Hey neighbor! That is exactly what we do - we do Saturday to Saturday every single time. I like to get home on Saturday evening so I can re-acclamate myself to the real world and tackle laundry before Monday morning.........when I have to re-adjust to non-Disney....

A bad day at Disney is better than a good day at work!

If we are driving we check in on Sunday afternoon (giving us 2 travel days to get down) and check out on Saturday (again giving us 2 days to get home).

When we fly we always check in on a Saturday but, the check in day just depends on how long we are staying for each vacation.

When it comes to the most popular check out day I would say it's Sunday because that's when I have seen a lot of guests checking out and because Monday is when everyone would be going back to work.

As for the most popular day to check-in I don't think it matters because there are always guests checking in at their resorts everyday, so I am going to say it depends on each family. For example this coming December we are checking into the Boardwalk Inn on a Thursday, because that's how it happened to work out for us getting one of their Standard Club Level Rooms.

Sunday in and out was very busy last year when we did it. This year we are doing Wednesday/Monday and I am hoping they will be light.

I've never really given it much thought. My check in day will vary with my vacation days and sometimes it will be on a weekend sometimes mid week.
