Whats the most obscure character have you found...

Several years ago, we were having the Grand Tea one afternoon in the GF, when 'out of the blue' Alice and The Queen of Hearts appeared.

Alice said nothing, just ran by a few tables and waved while the "Queen" just moved her arms up and down looking really, well, "mad".

Not 30 seconds later they both were gone. I was so dumbfounded at the time I didn't even think to take a picture. :headache:

It's a wonderful - if a little odd- memory, though...

Here's my mom with the Queen of Hearts at the animation building at DHS this past Saturday. (5/8/10)

The CM working there said that 5 PM is their "Surprise visit time" She said lots of characters show up and they never know who their going to get, or how long they are staying. There was hardly any guests in the building. It was great. Meeko was there too, as well as the Evil Witch from Snow White, Mulan, Minnie, and Pluto. This is in addition to Sorcerer Mickey and the Incredibles who are usually always there. Will definitely be returning there at 5 PM.

BTW we went back the next AM. (Mom loves the drawing class) It was the day of Lotso's premier. I have to say the kids were all pretty excited to see him...even though nobody knew who he was. (Talk about obscure)

For me, it was Jiminy Cricket on the Disney Magic last summer. I remember thinking at the time that I don't recall ever seeing him at either WDW or DLR.

If you take the train at DAK to Rafiki's Planet Watch, you can see him there ...

We found two of the female mice from Cinderella in Fantasyland when we visited in April 2000. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture on my computer. Those are probably the most obscure we have encountered. We also ran into the Beast at MGM...oops, I mean Hollywood Studios ... during the same trip. He's one we don't really see hanging around anymore.

You can sometimes catch Beast with Belle at the France Pavilion at Epcot.

Scrooge McDuck at Tokyo Disneyland just last month.

Woo Hoo. I was at DLRP in 2007. I have a photo trip report on here somewhere for that trip as well. :goodvibes

:) Esmerelda at the princess breakfast in Epcot probably 2002 or 2003. She was very pretty and people at the tables were asking who she was. I saw Flick for the first time in Nov 2009 at AK.
