whats the most exciting thing thats happened to you this year? and this month?

This year... Meeting my boyfriend (aka the one ) just days after breaking up with my ex who I was with for 5 years, talk about a rollercoaster of emotions! This month... Getting my iPhone 4, not quite on the same level I know!

It would have to be my first holiday without the kids. We went on a 5 night cruise and stayed at Portofino Bay, it really was a fantastic holiday

Nothing too exciting has happened in July, unless you count my first stay in a tent in the New Forest

This month, surprising DF with a little break for his birthday

This month (sad I know) - remortgaging and saving a ton of money plus reducing our mortgage term so it will be paid by the time I'm 50

This year,going to DLP and sharing the magic with my best friend and having her enjoy and love it just as much as I do.
This month, realising I understood a lot more than I thought I would on my OU maths course.

Coming up, spending my birthday in Ireland!

so far this year watching Pompey in the FA cup final again yay:

this month both my elder boys getting accepted at Zenos IT Training accademy

and coming up my trip to WDW next week

This year: passing my med school "intermediate" exams and doing much better than I, or anyone else, ever expected Which then allowed me to take a year out next year to study for a BSc in a year, which has in turn guaranteed me some summer holidays next year enabling me to apply for Disney's International College Program, working at WDW in summer 2011 (if I get it)

This month: Getting a research job for over the summer in the department of child health at the university hospital - I love kids! Which will hopefully lead to me getting a paper published at the end of it! Fingers crossed

This year: Going to WDW with a crazy lady I met on the DIS and having the most fantastic time!!!

This month: Hearing I'm getting ALL my money back in a couple of weeks from a property investment that went bust earlier in the year!!!

This year : losing a stone and a half (so far!) I feel much better and much less tired and miserable.

This month: meeting the cast of Being Human at LFCC. They were lovely

This month: Probably finding out that my dress will fit into a carry on and I won't have to put it in the hold. Sad but true.

A few things this year - Getting over stage two skin cancer, life was horrible there for a while and I'm excited to be feeling stronger an more energetic than ever, losing 13kgs and taking more exercise has made me a happier person too (still more to go).
Extending the house so it gives us the space that our growing family needs.

This month - Just bought a new car at the weekend
