What's the most daring thing you've done?

I had my first baby no drugs. Completely natural childbirth. Pretty daring for me.

Sorry thats it.

July:eek:

My DH and I used to do some pretty daring things when we were theatre electricians...climbing old A-frame ladders, hanging over balconies to focus lights, playing with electricity and pyrotechnics. And, of course, trying to keep up the the actors at the bars- they drink like fish!

-Met my DH on the internet (1995)-married 8 years in October:)
-Parasailing
-Got to the top of the pyramid Nohoch Mul at Coba in Mexico in 90 degree weather.
-I also saw a Moray eel while snorkeling in Grand Cayman-had to be 7 feet long!
-Driving way too fast on motorcycles and in cars.
-Doing flips on the center bar of a Jeep while it was driving down the road.
-Hitchiking in college-never alone but we did get a ride from a limo and an ambulance.
-Caught a Tiger shark at the beach when I was 7-I have a picture holding it up by the tail-haha. Yes, we put it back in the water.

Hitchhiked from CA to NJ in 1971 as a way to get home to my dying father. (1st marriage had just broken up, after being married only 6 months, and the ex walked out the day the rent was due, leaving me with NO money.---couldn't get money from home as dad was very bad, mom not working, and my brother was working to put every cent towards saving the house). I worked in a shoe store for 1 day for a neighbor who felt sorry for me, just to have $8.25 to leave for NJ. Took 10 days, and I lost 35 lbs along the way. (Hardly eating, not sleeping cause I was scared almost to death.---Left with a friend who went as far as CO, and then his friend who was on his way to Boston, but we got split up outside of Columbus, Ohio, so I had to go the rest of the way myself.......thank God for a friendly trucker who drove me to the bottom of the ramp of the interstate near my parent's home. How I made it in one piece was truely a miracle.

for me i climbed up a closet where u put stuff on

i was six about that time put my birthday cake a little piece hide it in my closet. hide it form my brothers

Bungy Jumping in Las Vegas!!!!!

Scared me almost to death!

The second time was still as scary but I had more fun.
Went into the water in the pool below clear up to my waist!

I had a fabulous job (VP at a bank) and owned a home when I decided to go back to school full time. It was a two year MBA program at a VERY expensive school (Stanford). I'm still not sure how I paid for that as I had no help from my parents.

I sold most of my wordly belongings and moved across country where I knew no one. I've done that moving across country part lots of times now but doing it with no job and knowing that I would not be working for two years was very different.

The other "daring" part was that I turned down a scholarship to attend Harvard Business School. I recently had my 25th reunion and am still glad that I chose Stanford.

I was about 10, and had watched "Treasure Island" and with the help of my cousin, decided that it was a good idea to dig up my grandfather's dirt floor garage looking for buried treasure. When we thought we had found some, we used an ice pick to try and break through it, discovering that it wasn't a chest at all, but a water pipe. OOPS!!!

Becoming a single parent -- wasn't originally my choice but I now realize it's the best and most daring thing I've ever done in my life. Each day is a new adventure! :)
